Lipika is doing the dishes. Lakshmi will leave, so I have to learn all of this. Somaiya comes to the haldi. She says, “Hi, Aunty. Great decor. Kusum says Mangal did it. She’s very creative and hardworking. She still looks fresh.” Adit tells Somaiya to sit here. Kusum says you can’t sit here. Somaiya asks why. She says only married women can sit here. Kusum says, “I get it.” Somaiya sits with Lipika and Ishana.
Gayatri applies haldi during Karthik’s haldi. Mangal brings Lakshmi. She does his haldi, and Gayatri finishes Karthik’s haldi. Everyone is dancing and happy. Sanjana wonders what Karthik is planning. He knows this wedding won’t happen to him. Lakshmi starts packing. Mangal says the color won’t come off. Kusum says she can take a shower, and it will come off.
Gayatri must be arriving soon. Lakshmi heads to the shower and comes out shortly after. As they prepare for the Mangal picnic, they notice Gayatri’s haldi stain still visible. Lipika shares her unsuccessful attempts at removing it and questions why Gayatri still has it on. It turns out that Lipika was the one who made the haldi, and Mangal brought it. In a state of panic, they try to scrub it off while Lakshmi bursts into tears. Realizing that guests are on their way, Mangal suggests using lemon, but Lipika thinks they should end the event altogether and proposes an idea.
As Gayatri and Kusum do haldi together, Akshad says to Kusum Mom is calling. Kusum says to Gayatri Karthik looks very happy. Gayatri says he wouldn’t go against me. Mangal brings Lakshmi with ghunghat. Gayatri asks why she is doing ghunghat.
Seeing Lakshmi’s face, Gayatri takes off the ghughat. She asks what is this? Mangal tells her that the color isn’t coming off. Karthik says it’s fine; it’ll come off at night. You will be alone in the mandap. You will feel trapped like I do. Karthik says in the heart that he will fool you the way you fooled me.
Gayatri forces Lakshmi to wear the bangles. In anger, Somaiya calls Adit and says, “You make me wear the bangles too?” He asks, “Are you crazy?” If someone sees a problem, she says, “I’m serious. I want it now.” Mangal says it’s every girl’s dream to wear these green bangles. Karthik makes Lakshmi wear them, making her happy. She says she wants them right now.
A bangle breaks. Karthik says sorry. Lakshmi says, “Don’t say sorry.” He says, “In his heart, she knows how to pretend so well.” I’ll do the same.
