Mangal Lakshmi 7th October 2024 Written Episode Update begins with Lakshmi in shock after reading the divorce papers. Distraught, she calls Mangal to inform her. Mangal, unaware of the situation, happily tells Lakshmi that she made laddus for her and had asked Adit to deliver them, but he was busy with work. Lakshmi struggles to reveal the truth and tells her sister she will come herself with something special. Lakshmi then tries to tell her that Adit is attempting to divorce her, but before she can finish, the call drops.
Lakshmi tries calling again, but the phone doesn’t connect. Determined, she decides to go in person. Holding the divorce papers in her hand, she cries on the way, wondering how Adit could do such a thing. She prays that the papers are fake.
Meanwhile, Mangal goes to the market and buys flowers for Lakshmi, while Lakshmi also purchases flowers for her sister. The two spot each other across the road. Lakshmi cries, torn about how to break the heartbreaking news. Just as Mangal starts walking towards her, a car suddenly hits Lakshmi. She falls badly injured on the road.
Mangal rushes to her, screaming for help as Lakshmi faints. Distressed, she pleads with bystanders to help, but people record videos instead of assisting. Mangal breaks down, begging them to have some humanity and save her sister’s life.
At the same time, Adit and Kusum are on their way to Gayatri’s house when Gayatri calls with shocking news. She tells Kusum she saw on TV that Lakshmi has met with an accident. Kusum is horrified. Mangal calls an ambulance and frantically waits as strangers finally help carry Lakshmi. Flashbacks of her moments with Lakshmi torment Mangal as she cries inconsolably.
Elsewhere, Karthik is with his fans, receiving a globe as a gift for his couple performance. His manager informs him about Lakshmi’s accident. Shocked, Karthik immediately says he must leave to see her.
Lakshmi is rushed to the hospital, where Mangal begs the doctors to save her. The nurse insists they need police formalities first, but Mangal cries and pleads to treat her sister urgently. The doctor says Lakshmi’s condition is critical. Adit and Kusum arrive, and Mangal breaks down in Adit’s arms, blaming herself for the accident. She laments that she called Lakshmi to meet her at the temple and now her sister is fighting for life. She shows Lakshmi’s blood-stained chunri, crying that Lakshmi was so happy and had even brought flowers for her.
Gayatri also reaches the hospital as Kusum tries to console Mangal. Adit reassures her that Lakshmi will recover. Shanti and Lipika arrive as well, and the family gathers in shock. Overwhelmed, Mangal faints.
Karthik calls Gayatri, worried about Lakshmi. Gayatri tells him the treatment has started and asks him to focus on his work, assuring him that the whole family is with Lakshmi. Karthik refuses to stay away, insisting he is coming immediately to see her.
In her unconscious state, Mangal murmurs Lakshmi’s name, showing her deep worry and guilt.
