As Adit drops the rice, Sanjana points out that Karthik has caused trouble for them. Mangal adds that it’s simply a tradition. Karthik and Lakshmi possess such wisdom that they can face challenges together. Kusum blesses Lakshmi and advises her to treat this house as her sister. Overcome with emotion, Lakshmi hugs Mangal tightly. She assures Lakshmi that she wants her to be happy in this house. Mangal considers Lakshmi the symbol of prosperity within their home and hopes her bond with Karthik grows stronger. Interrupting the emotional moment, Adit urges Mangal to stop crying and end the charade since everyone awaits outside. Before parting ways, Mangal reminds Lakshmi of a woman’s strength – her self-respect – and encourages her not to compromise.
Lakshmi is brought to Gayatri’s room. Nidhi says that her room is more prominent than her entire house. Sanjana says you can turn off the air conditioning if it is cold. You aren’t used to it. Gayatri asks them to leave. Don’t worry about them, Lakshmi. They talk too much. Stay comfortable. I’ll get Karthik to you. She gives her her phone.
Lakshmi is happy in Mangal’s home. Akshad and Ishana arrive. Akshad says Ishana hid something from you. She had to submit a project tomorrow, but she didn’t even begin it. She says we imagined our wedding night just like this. Lakshmi says I was helpless. She cried. She said it was too late until I found out the truth. I went to talk to her, but she seemed happy.

Guys can make these decisions, but girls can’t. Their hands are tied. I couldn’t break the weddings like that. Our worlds are not the same. I was always referred to as a curse. Didi kept crying.
