The doctor explains that since Mannat is considered Shruti’s daughter, there’s a 99% chance of a match. Only a small portion of Mannat’s liver would be needed. Mannat readily agrees to take the tests and insists on starting treatment immediately.
Meanwhile, Shruti regains consciousness and anxiously asks about Mannat. Harneet assures her that Mannat is fine, but Shruti senses something is wrong. She admits she has been hiding the secret all along because if Mannat found out, her world would shatter.
Mannat is stunned by the revelation. Shruti explains her painful past and confesses that she took Mannat in after Sonia abandoned her as a baby on the seashore. She raised her like her own child, hiding the truth to protect her from heartbreak. Mannat is left in tears after hearing the reality of her life.
