The episode begins with Vikrant telling Dhairya that they must begin their investigation. Neetu tries to explain to Vikrant that she did not cause Vishakha’s accident. She says she only went out searching for Vikrant and could not find him. She also clarifies that she did not take the car and asks Vikrant to trust her.
Mannat supports Neetu, but Vikrant refuses to trust anyone who has broken his trust before. Mannat tells him he is dragging the matter too far and warns him that he is hurting his mother. She insists no one is trying to kill them and someone is framing Neetu. Vikrant demands to know who would do such a thing. Mannat says there is only one person who will benefit from all this, and that is Vishakha. She reveals that Vishakha always acts for her own benefit.
Mannat brings up how Ronnie was ready to arrange money for his father’s operation but Vishakha stopped it only to take the money. She says Vishakha never loved anyone and her only love is money. According to Mannat, Vishakha even sold Vikrant in exchange for money for her future, and her greed did not end there. She returned to the Shaluja house, blackmailed Neetu and Ronnie, and demanded the property be transferred to her name.
Vikrant questions why Mannat supported the same people she now calls criminals. Mannat says Neetu had suffered a lot and was humiliated, and she only wanted to protect her future. Vikrant calls her double standarded and says Vishakha demanded the property to protect him while Mannat tried to use him. Mannat is heartbroken hearing this.
Shruti steps in and says Mannat has only ever loved Vikrant and never wanted anything else. But Vikrant questions Mannat’s honesty. He brings up the partnership papers and says Mannat transferred Aishwarya’s property to her own name. He accuses Mannat of cheating Aishwarya instead of blaming Vishakha. Aishwarya says she has been waiting for this moment. Mannat defends herself and says Aishwarya tried to kill Shruti and she had no choice. Vikrant counters that Mannat justifies her own actions as helplessness but calls Vishakha’s actions a conspiracy. Mannat shouts that it is a conspiracy and that a woman who can trade her own child is capable of anything. Vikrant warns her not to accuse Vishakha again.
Mannat asks Vikrant if he has any solid proof against Neetu. Vikrant throws Neetu’s dupatta in front of her. Mannat says the same design is available everywhere and this cannot be used as proof. Dhairya supports Mannat and says this is only circumstantial evidence. Mannat urges Vikrant to think practically. Vikrant insists he fought the world for Neetu and if he is accusing her he has a reason. Mannat asks if he saw Neetu’s face. He says no, he only saw the dupatta. Mannat tells him he is ignoring the biggest truth of his life. Vikrant says he has valid reasons.
Mannat tells him to bring evidence that no one can deny. Vikrant says he will. Dhairya says Neetu’s car is still under investigation and the report will come in ten minutes which will prove Neetu’s innocence. Vikrant refuses to believe it and says he will make sure the real culprit Neetu gets punished. Neetu is shattered and almost collapses but Ronnie holds her.
Mannat argues that Vikrant is doing wrong. She says Neetu never imagined that the hands that blessed her son would one day be put in handcuffs by the same son. Mannat brings the matron to reveal the truth. Dhairya assures the matron she can speak without fear. The matron begins to reveal everything. Vishakha immediately creates an emotional scene and begs her to stop. She falls at Mannat’s feet. Dhairya tells her to stop acting. Vishakha claims Dhairya is doing everything for Mannat and pretends she does not know the matron. Mannat starts shouting at her.
In the heated moment Vikrant pushes Mannat. Everyone is stunned. Vishakha, Aishwarya and Mallika enjoy the scene. Dhairya rushes to save Mannat by catching her hand. Vikrant sees Dhairya and Mannat together and becomes furious. He shouts that he stands with his mother. Mannat says even after knowing the truth he still trusts Vishakha. Vikrant says if she cannot believe what he saw with his own eyes how can he believe someone else’s words. Their argument intensifies.
Neetu steps forward and stops the fight. She tells Dhairya to sign the arrest warrant if her own son believes she committed the crime. She says she is ready to go to jail. Mannat stops her. Dhairya consoles Neetu but she is devastated. Neetu cries that her son no longer calls her maa and the person she loved most now treats her like a stranger.
