Shlok is at Bilawal’s house, so Sumeet rings the doorbell. Akki and Shlok try to sneak out of the house, but they get scared after hearing the doorbell. Zainab instructs a servant to check who is at the door. Shlok hiding asks if Bilawal is back? Sumeet informs Zainab that she has come to invite them to Ganapati celebrations.
Dadu expresses their willingness to attend, and she asks if she’ll get modak. Sumeet says yes, and she tries to look around inside the house, making excuses.
Sumeet and Shlok sense one another’s presence, but never see it in person. Through a curtain, they can see shadows of each other. Shlok believes Sumeet is nearby, and Sumeet is about to draw the curtain to see inside, but someone interrupts her, preventing her from revealing herself. Even so, her anklet reaches Shlok, making him smile.
Sumeet explains that she has come to invite Naaz and her family to Ganesh Puja. Naaz observes Sumeet’s curiosity as she looks around and inquires as to what she is looking for.
Meanwhile, Shlok hopes Kafur can help him and Akki escape Pakistan and return to India. Bilawal confronts Kafur and resorts to violence to get information about Shlok’s whereabouts. He divulges that he helped eight Indians cross the border, including Shlok and Akki, unwittingly revealing their names.
In response to Naaz’s mention of Akki, Sumeet suspects Adil might be Shlok. Upon retrieving the pictures she had taken earlier, Naaz accidentally drops them. When Sumeet sees that the pictures are of Shlok and Akki, she expresses gratitude to God for protecting Shlok.
Overhearing Bilawal’s order to raid Indian spies, including Shlok, Sumeet becomes frantic as she realizes Shlok’s life is in danger. Meanwhile, Shlok and Akki contemplate their upcoming return home. With some jokes, Shlok lightens the mood, but becomes emotional at the thought of reuniting with Sumeet.
Sumeet contemplates how to rescue Shlok and decides to join the constables in their jeep to reach Bilawal. Akki inquires about their expected arrival home the following day. Shlok teases him and feels overwhelmed by the prospect of being reunited with Sumeet.
As Sumeet sends up a prayer for divine intervention in preserving innocent lives, Bilawal plots to eliminate any Indians crossing the border. He marks Shlok’s blanket to ensure his men don’t shoot him, and blackmails Kafur into aiding his plan. As he struggles with how to protect Shlok, Sumeet is sitting in the police jeep, listening in on Bilawal’s commands. The tension mounts as Bilawal spots a group of Indians approaching the border, but Sumeet remains hopeful and turns to Lord Ganesha for guidance.
