The episode begins with Arjun leaving the house, leaving Megha heartbroken as she sits in tears, reminiscing about him. Meanwhile, Arjun, lost in thoughts of Megha, is overwhelmed with emotions. Hamari Adhuri Kahani plays in the background as he recalls their moments together. In agony, he cries out and returns home, only to find celebrations in full swing.
Navjot excitedly tells him to congratulate his father on his promotion. Arjun hugs Talwar, expressing his pride in him. However, Talwar notices Arjun’s red eyes and senses his inner turmoil. Arjun, trying to hide his emotions, cheers for his father and joins the celebration, pretending to be happy. As the night progresses, he drinks excessively, dances in a drunken state, and later retreats to his room, overwhelmed with emotions. Suddenly, he receives a shocking call.
At Megha’s home, Diwali celebrations are in full swing when an unexpected arrival catches everyone’s attention. Kripal answers the door to find Talwar, Shagun, and Navjot standing with shagun for Megha. Navjot questions the somber atmosphere, and Talwar explains that although they took time, they have finally come with a marriage proposal for Megha and Arjun.
Megha is stunned and asks if it is a joke. Navjot assures her it is not. However, Megha firmly refuses, stating that she is not ready for any relationship. Navjot questions whether Arjun made a mistake in choosing her. Before they can respond, Arjun intervenes, saying he will handle the situation. Megha, however, is unconvinced and asks what has changed.
Arjun passionately confesses that he still loves her deeply. He insists that no one can keep her happier than he can. He reminds her of the times he was with her in Georgia and Mumbai, ensuring her safety and standing by her side. He asks Surinder if he ever failed in protecting Megha, to which Ranjeeta immediately replies, “No way.”
Turning to Megha, Arjun tells her to trust her family and let them decide. He reassures everyone that he will accept their decision, urging them to take their time. However, Megha refuses, apologizing to his family and firmly stating that she cannot go through with the marriage.
Just when it seems final, Surinder intervenes, stopping Megha. He boldly declares that he accepts the proposal. Megha and the rest of the family stand in shock as the episode ends.
