Megha tries to stay composed and tells him that if he must hate someone, he should hate her but not himself. She warns him that his uncontrollable anger will only damage his own reputation.

Arjun, overwhelmed by conflicting emotions, briefly stops the car. He then confesses that he finds peace only when troubling Megha. He openly declares that he cannot sleep without tormenting her in some way. Megha, both hurt and resolute, tells him that she belongs only to him. She allows him to find whatever peace he wants, even if it means hurting her.

Taking her words literally, Arjun fastens Megha’s seatbelt and dares her to die with him. In a reckless move, he starts drinking alcohol while driving. The next day, Megha accompanies Ranjeeta to the police station to thank Arjun for helping her. However, Arjun remains distant and warns Ranjeeta that his life is in danger. He advises that Megha should maintain distance from him for her own safety.
