As Manoj and Kavita come home, Goldie asks Ranjeeta to apologize. Surinder apologizes to them. Kavita asks why, did I miss anything? Goldie says no, Surinder apologizes a lot, are you upset with something? We have come here to fix the wedding date, some functions will happen at home, you are not showing much excitement.
Goldie apologizes and assures that they are open to any date that works for them. Manoj notices Megha and greets her with a smile. He requests her help in finding his misplaced card on the terrace, whenever she has the time. Goldie nods in agreement, encouraging Megha to assist him. On reaching the terrace, Megha looks around but is not able to locate the card. She asks Manoj about its color, to which he replies “pink”. However, upon seeing her pink dress, he realizes that it must have been picked up by mistake. Megha expresses her concern over his sudden departure and multiple failed attempts at calling him. Manoj explains that he was occupied with a call from Georgia and his phone battery died as a result. She playfully teases him by asking if his battery died or his phone’s battery died. He responds with a laugh, calling her cute. Megha then states that their phones will always be vital to them.
She says I told you about money. He stops her and says you are important to me, your family, not your money, you don’t have to ask me about your money, I will support you in every decision you make. She smiles. My future wife, he asks if we should meet for coffee. She says no, Sonam’s sangeet is tomorrow. He says Sonam always comes between us. I’ll come for dinner, but I don’t have an invitation.
She says you are my responsibility now. He holds her. She gets shy and leaves. Sonia says we were scared. Kavita asks why. Goldie says she is mad. Kripal says we will keep a grand marriage, mum has also made enquiries by visiting your locality, we just need to fix the wedding. She gets angry and scolds them. Manoj and Megha come downstairs.
Megha tells Kavita to watch her words when talking to her mom. Goldie then tells Megha to keep quiet. Instead, Megha requests Manoj to relay the message to Kavita. However, Kavita begins arguing and expresses her disapproval of the proposed relationship. She states that even though she did not like the alliance, her son has fallen in love with Megha’s daughter. Kavita also asks Manoj to acknowledge how they were insulted during their inquiry about the marriage. In response, Manoj reassures her that there was no intention of offending them and explains that it is standard procedure to conduct an investigation in such situations. He further shares that they would have done the same if he had a sister getting married. Ranjeeta interrupts and apologizes for any misunderstanding caused. Finally, Manoj kindly advises her not to fold her hands as a gesture of apology but instead focus on the preparations for their upcoming wedding.
He asks Kavita to calm down. She nods. Manoj says we’ll go now. They leave. Ranjeeta says Megha, you’re lucky to have a partner like Manoj. Sonia teases Megha about Manoj. Megha smiles. Manoj gets a call. He is irritated.
He stares at her, she looks foolish. Kavita asks her what you see in her. She gets quiet. They come home. She argues. Manoj says stop it, I’m marrying, I’m not fooling around. His father explains Kavita to him. He says it’s important that Megha comes into my life, I won’t let anyone come between us. Kavita nods her head.
When Megha becomes a NRI, she will be able to call Kripal abroad, because you are a mum. Surinder says yes, but we have to secure her future, if I doubt Manoj and his family, I will not be quiet, I will be with Megha. I know Manoj is a nice guy, but it’s true, there are Jassis in every locality in Amritsar.
It is Megha’s family who attend Sonam’s haldi function. Surinder does the Mama’s rasam for Sonam’s mum. Surinder and Ranjeeta make Sonam wear the bangles. Sonam’s kaleerein falls over Megha. Everyone claps. There is good news; I got a girl who can identify that fraud groom; she is coming in one hour. Arjun asks him to cancel Ranjeeta’s leave and call her. He thinks that fraud groom will be caught today. Manoj attends the function.
