Gopal has taken Mishri and confined her in a room. As Vaani questions Raghav about her appearance, they hear shouting from somewhere else. Puzzled, Raghav wonders whose voice it could be. Vaani explains that Mishri still hasn’t shown up and still has her engagement ring. Meanwhile, Mishri realizes that Vaani’s ring is in her possession, and if she doesn’t make it to the engagement on time, it will cause chaos. In an attempt to find Mishri, Vaani asks Rithi for help, but she can’t locate her anywhere. Sulekha tries to calm everyone down by assuring them that Mishri will arrive soon and will likely be getting ready and urging them to exchange the rings quickly as the auspicious time passes.
Right as Raghav is about to place the ring on Vaani’s finger, the electricity suddenly goes out. Parvati and Ranjith investigate the cause of the blackout while Vaani silently prays for Mishri’s prompt arrival. Upon hearing a sound, Parvati alerts Ranjith. Meanwhile, outside, Mishri frantically pounds on the wall to get someone’s attention. When Parvati opens the door, she is taken aback by Mishri’s disheveled appearance. She immediately inquires who could have caused such harm to Mishri, but Mishri insists that she must return to Vaani and begs Parvati not to reveal what has occurred.
As Sulekha ponders Parvati’s whereabouts, Supriya shares her belief that Raghav and Vaani are a perfect match and shouldn’t delay their plans due to the power outage. As Raghav goes to place the ring on Vaani’s finger, Mishri catches his attention and startles him, causing him to drop the ring. Vaani questions what happened while Sulekha wonders about the missing ring. Raghav promises to find it and searches with his flashlight.
Mishri unintentionally collides with Raghav, dropping his phone to the ground. Surprised, she retrieves the ring and phone, finding Raghav’s presence unexpectedly in the dimly lit area. Despite his inability to see her face, she reminisces about their marriage and his declaration of solely fulfilling his duty towards her instead of acknowledging her as his spouse. Recalling Vaani’s constant encouragement, Mishri becomes overwhelmed with emotions. She passes the ring back to Raghav, but upon his inquiry about her identity, she turns away and departs.
As the power returns, Raghav’s eyes are fixed on her. Mishri rushes to her room, shuts the door, and sobs uncontrollably. The idea of Raghav getting married to Vaani seems unfathomable to her. She remembers Vaani mentioning a keepsake box filled with cherished moments. Through it, Mishri discovers snapshots of Vaani and Raghav, love notes, and precious memories.
Filled with heartache, she implores God to explain the reasons for her misfortunes. She believes that fate has played a cruel trick on her and that she has not experienced joy since her early years. Perplexed about the suffering she is enduring, she questions why she is being penalized despite her best efforts to distance herself from Raghav. To make matters worse, she finds herself in the same home that was once hers, now belonging to Vaani’s in-laws.
As Dadaji persistently encourages Raghav to proceed with the engagement and slip the ring onto Vaani’s finger, she remains adamant in her refusal. She firmly states that she will not proceed with the engagement until her sister arrives. Kalpana interjects, mentioning that Mishri is technically not their relative, but Vaani stands her ground. She elaborates how Mishri played a crucial role in saving her life and persuading her to follow through with the engagement.
Dadaji requests Chithra to fetch Mishri, but she declines, stating her reluctance to summon a servant. Vaani confirms that Mishri is her sibling. This causes Raghav to take on the task of locating Mishri himself, causing Gopal to feel uneasy. Afterward, Mishri contemplates that Raghav cannot live without Vaani and permanently removes herself from their lives.
