Raghav ponders over the recent happenings as Parvathi expresses remorse for slapping him. He reassures her that he holds no grudges. She presents him with his old slate, treasured for its memories from childhood. As he reminisces about writing “mom” on it countless times, Parvathi begs at his feet, imploring him to sacrifice his happiness by agreeing to marry Vani. She stresses the importance of this alliance for the family’s well-being and urges him to meet Vani at least once. Meanwhile, Vani sends Raghav a message requesting a meeting the following day.
Raghav acknowledges his father’s situation, while Bela inquires about Grandma’s destination. Grandma responds that she intends to visit Mishri’s in-laws’ place. Sakthi wants to intervene, but Bela advises against it to avoid raising suspicion. Instead, she proposes heading to Raghav’s home and shares a plan with Sakthi. Meanwhile, Parvathi searches for Raghav and updates Sulekha about it. When asked if she has discussed the potential alliance with him, Parvathi remains silent, prompting Sulekha to warn that the family could face significant consequences if Raghav rejects the proposal.
While Raghav suggests they marry in the temple, Vani insists on meeting his family first, believing she can impress them. In addition, Mishri and Grandma get lost on their way to Raghav’s house due to their excitement. He apologizes, saying he cannot marry her without his family’s permission.
When Raghav introduces Vani to his family, he declares his love for her and says she has the qualities of a good daughter-in-law. Kalpana and her husband arrive, and Vani surprises Raghav by referring to Kalpana as her mom. He tells them he cannot marry the girl they chose for him.
When Kalpana reveals that she came to arrange the wedding, Grandma accepts the alliance, and Raghav confirms that Vani is indeed Kalpana’s daughter. Vani is overjoyed as Kalpana says Raghav will marry her. Raghav tells his mom he is ready to marry the girl she chooses.
Raghav and Vani seek blessings from the elders when Mishri and Grandma arrive at the wrong address. Raghav asks Parvathi to hug Kalpana, who vows never to forgive her. Despite Chithra’s speculation that Raghav and Vani might have eloped, Sulekha praises Raghav, saying he wouldn’t.
Sakti’s brother hits Grandma with his car to keep her from meeting Raghav. Mishri saves Grandma but gets hurt in the process. Sakti beats his brother, and Mishri faints.
