Sakthi informs Raghav that he is unable to rescue Mishri from his grasp and prepares to thrust a knife towards him. However, before Sakthi can strike, Mishri intervenes and questions his lack of shame in attacking her husband. She firmly reminds Sakthi that he came to take away her happiness, and she will not allow him to touch Raghav. Mishri warns Sakthi to keep his distance, but Raghav interjects and prevents her from harming him. Sakthi taunts Mishri, suggesting she should not be proud of Raghav since he left her at the wedding altar. In defence of her husband, Mishri threatens to report Sakthi to the authorities if he ever tries to harm Raghav again. Undeterred, Sakthi warns that she will regret marrying Raghav, but ultimately, Raghav takes Mishri away from the tense situation.
Vaani keeps calling Raghav. Mishri asks if he is okay and apologizes for the trouble she caused. Raghav, frustrated, stops the car and tells her she has a headache. She is always talking and never giving him time to think. Before going home, he instructs her to change out of her wedding dress. Mishri leaves for change.
After receiving a call from Vaani, Raghav assures Mishri that he is okay. Mishri is upset about Raghav’s words and meets an old lady who helps her prepare. Raghav arranges Mishri’s admission and expenses on the phone. Raghav scolds Mishri for wearing makeup when she appears in her wedding attire. As she explains, the old woman did her makeup, and she should look like a newlywed. Raghav asks if she is serious about the wedding.
Giri is overcome with sadness and sheds tears for Mishri. In a rage, Bela hurls Mishri’s possessions out of the house, but Dadi intervenes to prevent her. In the process, Bela slips and falls. Dadi comments that Mishri has taken away her luck. Raghav confesses to Mishri that their marriage was not real and he had only done it to protect her from Sakthi. He arranged for her to stay and pursue her studies at an NGO, where many other girls follow their dreams. However, Raghav points out that she can’t go in her current appearance and suggests she change clothes. He explains that they cannot live together because they do not know each other well or have similar lifestyles. Mishri, heartbroken, remembers Dadi’s words of wisdom and removes her makeup.
When Vaani calls Raghav again, he struggles to tell her the truth. When Vaani arrives, Raghav hugs her and shares his grief, saying he thought he lost her but was glad to see her again. When Mishri sees them hugging, Raghav tells Vaani, “I love you,” and that he loves only her, and she wipes her vermillion off, heartbroken.
