At a textile shop, Vani causes a commotion. The manager belittles Mishri due to her appearance and modest background. He demands 20k for the damaged saree. In response, Vani insists he compensates Mishri with 50k for humiliating her. Despite the manager’s second round of insults and refusal to meet her demands, Vani records the entire interaction on her phone and threatens to make it public. The manager apologizes, prompting Vani to reprimand him before he offers to show her more expensive sarees. However, Mishri declines the offer, stating she doesn’t want costly items or charity. Pleased with Mishri’s stance, Vani commends her and departs from the shop.
Supriya feels disappointed because her husband, Ranjith, cannot afford such expensive things. Chithra is selecting a saree for the anniversary function, and she asks her to choose one she likes. Supriya comments that Chithra, who is not married, cannot comprehend the value of marriage. Chithra gets angry, but Grandma asks them to stop arguing and choose a saree.
As Vani scrolled through her mobile, a familiar voice called, “Didi.” Her eyes welled up with emotion as she thought of her sister Meenu. They embraced tightly before Vani realized Mishri’s presence. Grateful for Vani’s support, Mishri revealed that no one had ever stood up for them since their parents passed away. Encouraging her to find her voice, Vani reminded Mishri to stand up for herself. Mishri shyly asked if it was okay to call her “Didi,” which Vani happily allowed. Returning the saree left at the shop, Mishri exclaimed that it would look beautiful on Vani.
In his conversation with Chithra, Raghav mentions that Grandma’s 50th wedding anniversary is tomorrow, so he plans to celebrate it grandly. Parvathi asks if Kalpana will attend the function, and Raghav says it’s great news because Kalpana will return home after a long absence.
Before taking a phone call, Raghav expresses his happiness and hugs Grandma. Parvathi chooses a lovely saree for Kalpana and plans to prepare everything for her arrival. Kalpana’s attendance at the function is subject to a condition put by Grandma, and Grandpa threatens to tell him that Grandma constantly insults Raghav’s mother, calling for him.
As Mishri praises Vani, Shakti tells Bela that he cannot marry Mishri and she will leave. Bela assures him that he will marry Mishri. When Rudra arrives, Bela informs him the alliance won’t happen. Grandma and Mishri arrive, and Mishri becomes suspicious. She is sent inside by Grandma.
Despite her pleas to Grandpa not to tell Raghav the truth, Parvathi lies to him while expressing gratitude for Kalpana’s return. When Bela sees Raghav’s picture, she lies to Grandma, telling her that she chose Raghav for Mishri because their horoscopes match and that he is perfect for her. Mishri learns they are trying to fix her wedding and declares she won’t marry him.
