Vedika served the children as they sat. One of the boys complimented the tasty vegetable dish and asked if Vedika had also tasted it. She was determined not to lose focus and continued with her duties. Amid this, she overheard one of the workers informing Mr. Mittal that the food had been delivered. Curious, Vedika inquired about who had sent it. The worker named Mrs. Saraswathi Mittal as the sender. Without hesitation, Vedika opened the tiffin but found only a few vegetable pieces. Nevertheless, she smiled, knowing that she had prepared it herself. This gave her hope and strengthened her resolve to seek justice for her mother, no matter what challenges lay ahead.
Digvijay inquires about Rajeshwari’s suspicion that Sagar may have met with another girl. As Rajeshwari reaches for the books, she suggests that Vedika did not come over today as usual and could have crossed paths with Sagar outside. She also mentions that Sagar seems upset about something. Rajeshwari called Vedika’s phone number, and Vedika answered. When Vedika mentions that Sagar will be calling from that number, Rajeshwari declines the invitation, citing her caller ID. Afterward, when Rajeshwari says they must ensure Sagar marries Koyal, Digvijay assures her everything will go smoothly. However, Rajeshwari emphasizes the importance of their actions and asks who should be their pawn. Ultimately, she chooses Koyal as their pawn.
As Koyal enters the room, she is adorned in the Chunri of the Shugun gifted to her by Rajeshwari. Her reflection in the mirror captures her attention as she admires the Chunri and the bangles adorning her wrist. As she gazes at herself, she realizes that, for the first time, she will have a loving husband and a family. Memories of Sagar’s care and concern for her when she had an allergic reaction flood her mind, making her feel nervous yet grateful. She chuckles at how her mother has always been obsessed with Bollywood films but now finds herself acting like a romantic heroine after falling in love with someone she once disliked.
As Koyal recalls her fights with Sagar, she thinks he had a lot of attitude before, but he now takes good care of her, which makes her smile again. When Rajeshwari pulls the Chunri out of her head, Koyal becomes concerned. Rajeshwari even asks her to take off the bangles when Koyal claims she gave them to her as Shugun.
When Koyal asked about the situation, Rajeshwari admitted to not knowing the truth. She regretted that she had broken her heart and couldn’t even hide the truth, as it would inevitably do more harm. The truth was that Vedika had confessed her love to Sagar and questioned if he would marry her. Koyal was taken aback and in disbelief. Rajeshwari, Sagar’s grandmother, shared these sentiments but knew there was no point in holding out hope for a place in his life for Koyal. With Vedika entering the picture, Koyal’s concerns grew even more.
Sagar thinks Vedika is not listening to her, and Dadi gives the Shugun to Koyal while Maa is also on their side, so he wonders how he can convince Vedika. When the voice note starts, he throws the phone on the bed. When Suphedra enters the room, he asks Sagar if he has proposed to Vedika. When Suphedra asks if he sees marriage as a joke, Sagar replies that she feels marriage is just a compromise since she does not enjoy any love in her marriage,
In response to Sagar’s apology and hug of Suhedra, Sagar says he does not feel anything for Koyal, so when she agrees to the marriage, he becomes furious and does everything. When Suphedra asks Sagar what he thinks about Vedika, Sagar replies that he doesn’t know but will get better. Sagar promises not to make impulsive decisions. Suphedra leaves the father and showers her blessings on him.
When asked if Vedika proposed to Sagar, Koyal was shocked. Rajeshwari says Vedika does whatever she likes; since when does a girl propose to a boy? Koyal replies that even she knows what to do, so she gives the bangles back to Rajeshwari, saying she does not want to marry anyone who is interested in another person. Rajeshwari thinks Vedika will enter the Maheshwari Mansion if Koyal backs out.
As Vedika did not want to conceal anything from her parents, she told them that Sagar had proposed that day and declined. Kishori Lal says Vedika also likes him, but Vedika says she wants to save her mother from that house, as she unknowingly ate the food her mother prepared today.
When Saraswathi asks Mauri how it happened, he replies that Vedika proposed to Sagar to prevent him from marrying Koyal. When Mauri says Saraswathi has seen how Vedika can achieve what she desires, Saraswathi cannot believe that Vedika can do it. When Suphedra calls Saraswathi, Mauri asks her if she’s found out what happened when they talk about the proposal when Digvijay calls Suphedra to speak to her.
With Mauri, Saraswathi says she needs to talk to Vedika and resolve the situation. Still, Mauri suggests Saraswathi not go alone and send someone else as she is very kind-hearted and emotional, so she feels Saraswathi needs to send someone else when Mauri leaves. Saraswathi wonders if Vedika has done something of the sort.
As Rajeshwari says, Koyal did not hear Sagar’s answer since he refused Vedika’s proposal and refused to accept it. It may be that Koyal has also begun falling in love with her now that he knows she is Jhanvi. When Rajeshwari is about to throw them out of the house, Koyal asks why she insists on their marriage.
After Maui enters the room, she tells Rajeshwari that Sagar cannot find a better wife than her. Koyal asks if it is her plan when Rajeshwari says that Koyal agrees to the marriage, and if she is not interested, they may leave. When Koyal agrees to the proposal, if Sagar agrees, Mauri stops Rajeshwari; otherwise, she won’t marry him.
After cleaning the things at night, Vedika recalls the argument she had with Sagar today and how they hugged each other. She thinks he is in her past, so she should forget him.
