Shiv Shakti 17th May 2024 Written Update begins with Padma confessing to Shakti that she was forced by Mandira to act as Gayatri’s ghost. Meanwhile, Mandira is executing her sinister plan—disguised as Gayatri, she terrifies Shiv by accusing him of murder. Shiv, overwhelmed with fear, screams for Shakti.
A flashback reveals that Mandira locked Shakti inside Padma’s room, ensuring she wouldn’t reach Shiv in time. Trapped, Shakti breaks the window using a vase and escapes.
Elsewhere, Dadi and Ragunath search for Shiv. Dadi heads toward Shiv’s room, unaware of the chaos awaiting her. Frightened by Mandira’s ghost act, Shiv runs out of the room in panic. Just then, Dadi tries to calm him down, but in his terrified state, Shiv accidentally pushes her down the stairs.
The entire family rushes to help as Dadi lies unconscious. Shiv is devastated and blames himself for the fall. Shakti reassures him it was just an accident and takes him away, while Mandira secretly enjoys her success.
In Shiv’s room, Shakti tries to soothe him, urging him to stay calm. Meanwhile, the doctor checks on Dadi and suggests hospitalization, but she refuses, fearing legal trouble for Shiv. Ragunath is upset and blames Shiv, but Shakti defends him, saying he was manipulated into reacting that way.
Elsewhere, Dharam expresses his frustration to Chacha about Manorama’s opposition to his relationship with Koyal. Chacha jokingly suggests eloping, leaving Dharam stunned.
Back with the family, Ragunath insists Shiv pushed Dadi. Shakti counters, saying that while it looked like that, their eyes can sometimes be deceived. She points to Mandira as the mastermind behind everything. Mandira denies involvement, insisting she’s changed and challenges Shakti to ask Shiv himself.
Shakti takes the family to confront Shiv and uncover the truth—only to discover that Shiv is missing from his room, leaving everyone shocked.
