Shiv Shakti 18th May 2024 Written Update starts with everyone in the family panicking as Shiv goes missing. A guard informs them that Shiv is on the rooftop. To their horror, they see Shiv standing at the edge, ready to jump. Ragunath and others plead with him to stop, but Shiv insists he must jump to repent for hurting Dadi.

Shiv, overwhelmed with guilt, declares that hurting someone demands punishment. Dadi tries to calm him down, assuring him she is fine. Still, Shiv says that only self-punishment will make God forgive him. Shakti realizes someone planted this idea in Shiv’s mind.

In a flashback, it’s revealed that Mandira had manipulated Shiv by telling him that God will only forgive him if he punishes himself the same way he hurt Dadi. Back in the present, Mandira silently celebrates, believing her plan to eliminate Shiv will now succeed.

Meanwhile, Chacha suggests Dharam elope with Koyal. Dharam hesitates, but Chacha insists it’s the only way. Dharam ties Chacha to a chair (as part of their act) and escapes to marry Koyal. Chacha screams for help when Manorama arrives, shocked to learn Dharam ran away.

Back on the roof, Shakti pleads with Shiv to step down. When he refuses, she threatens to jump as well. Shiv panics and stops, saying she hasn’t done anything wrong. Nandu arrives just in time and rescues Shiv from the ledge. Shakti tells Mandira that love has once again defeated her evil intentions.

Later, Shakti comforts Shiv and scolds him for risking his life. Dadi warns Shiv never to speak of repentance like that again, saying she wouldn’t survive losing him. Shakti reminds Shiv that his life is precious and he must protect himself for the sake of the family.

As Dharam prepares to marry Koyal, Manorama frets about what she’ll tell the world. Back at home, Shakti confronts Mandira again, accusing her of manipulating Shiv. Mandira denies the allegations, but Shakti stands firm.

Ragunath believes that Gayatri’s ghost is causing the unrest, but Shakti refutes it. She says Gayatri was never capable of harming anyone—alive or dead. In fact, Shakti reveals her next plan: to use the ghost story against Mandira and finally expose her.
