Manorama searches for Shakti at the function, but she is nowhere to be found. She turns to Rimjhim and asks her to show concern for Shakti, as it is Manorama’s mehndi ceremony. Dharam intervenes and reprimands her. Concerned about Shakti, Manorama sees Mandira overhearing their conversation and confides in Koyal that she can’t locate Shakti. However, before she can leave to look for her, her husband pulls her onto the dance floor. As Manorama continues to call Shakti with no answer, Keertan observes her following him and plans to reveal the truth about Shiv’s son to her, hoping to prevent their marriage.
Shiv’s son is playing on his school grounds when Keertan arrives there. He informs the guard of his desire to see Kartik, thinking he will reveal Shiv’s truth to her. Just then, Shakti enters the school but notices Manorama beckoning her. She responds to her call, but Mandira asks Manorama about Shakti’s whereabouts. In response, Manorama explains that Shakti wasn’t feeling well, and she sent her to rest. Upon hearing this, Shiv asks if she is alright, to which she confirms and adds that she just needed some rest, which is why she was sent away. However, Dadi questions why Shakti was allowed to leave the house since she is their daughter-in-law, which may not be a good sign.
Mandira thinks Shakti is up to something. She tells Dadi that Shakti might have something important to do. Dadi says she doesn’t want anything to go wrong in this wedding. Shiv tells Dadi he’ll find Shakti. Dadi says you care more about her than your Dadi? she teases him. Dadi says you can’t go and meet her as she will be your wife soon. Manorama says she should rest. She sees Shakti calling her and goes aside.
Manorama berates her and demands to know her whereabouts, urging her to return quickly as they disapprove of her leaving the house. Shakti acknowledges and promises to come back. She ends the call with determination, vowing to expose Keertan before he ties the knot with Rimjhim. However, her attempt is thwarted by the guard, who refuses to let her enter. Confused, Shakti questions why he had allowed Keertan entry. The guard reveals that his son is a student at the same institution, so he permits him to study there. Shocked by this revelation, Shakti contemplates how wrong it is for Rimjhim to be unaware of Keertan having a child.
