Shiv is instructed not to anger Shakti more today by Dadi. Nandu asks Shiv where he is going? Shiv says it’s Rimjhim’s Haldi ceremony and I have to leave. Koyal says he doesn’t talk about anyone else except Shakti. Dadi says Shakti is like that… anyone can be inspired by her. You’re right, but isn’t it strange Shiv keeps going there after the scandal? Ragunath says I also think Shiv shouldn’t go there often since people can talk about him.
Dadi declares that people should be disregarded. Look at the changes Shakti has brought about. When was the last time you saw Shiv so cheerful and eagerly anticipating events? All credits to Shakti for transforming Shiv. Even your bond with Shiv is improving because of her. Ragunath recalls this. Dadi believes that the Lord is orchestrating Shiv’s union with Shakti, and we should not interfere in it. Keertan’s frustration becomes evident as he flings a plate and exclaims his exhaustion from constantly hearing about this girl and being surrounded by discussions of Shiv and Shakti. He storms off, closely followed by Mandira.
Mandira confronts Keertan, exclaiming that she worked tirelessly for years to establish her position, yet he continues to undermine it. But Keertan dismisses her claim, asking what position she even holds, as Shakti is already in control and gaining popularity with the family. Mandira expresses frustration that despite her big talk, she was unable to stop Shakti’s influence and even got physically attacked by her twice. She points out how Keertan always belittled her as a loser, but the truth is that she is his son and he has been acting like a loser. In anger, Mandira slaps him and demands to know who he thinks he’s talking to. She asserts that she will not hesitate to use her children for her own gain because ultimately, she is a queen and will remain one.
I won’t spare Shakti, Mandira tells Ranjan. She slapped my son and I want her to pay for it. It should affect both Shiv and Shakti. Ranjan says sure and ends the call. His brother says she insulted me a lot on Rakhi day, don’t spare her. Shakti works in the kitchen and smirks as Ranjan watches. As a result of a hint from Mandira, Ranjan will not spare her bow.
Manorama asks Ranjan’s family to attend the haldi ceremony, but Ranjan’s mother hands her a list and clarifies that it is only for immediate family members, totaling approximately 40 people. Manorama assures her that invitations will be sent out. However, Ranjan’s mother then requests that they also receive gifts of sarees and jewelry, as they are family. Manorama becomes overwhelmed and leaves the room. Shakti consoles her, pointing out that these people are greedy and Ranjan is allowing this behavior. They have no morals if they are demanding gifts, even though dowry is illegal. Shakti believes Ranjan does not deserve Rimjhim. Manorama interrupts them, telling Shakti to stop and instructs him to go get some tea. Shakti watches as Ranjan exits the room to take a phone call.
She turns to see Ranjan there, leers at her and smirks. Ranjan is with Shakti in the kitchen, thinking today we will have our first marriage ritual. Shakti thinks it is wrong if they are asking for dowry.
