Ranjan’s mother instructs Manorama to purchase gifts for their family, leading Shakti to believe that this is a violation of the law against dowry. As she turns to walk away, she finds Ranjan present and he expresses his concern that she does not spend enough time with them and seems overworked due to Manorama not being her biological mother. Shakti firmly defends herself, stating that she is happy to contribute to household tasks as it is her own home. Ranjan reassures her, saying he often searches for her and wishes for her presence with his future sister-in-law, Rimjhim. Shakti is taken aback by this revelation and plans to inform Manorama, but is interrupted by the arrival of Ranjan’s brother who joins in on the conversation.
Shakti trembles as Ranjan reaches out to touch her, silently praying for help. Suddenly, she spots Shiv entering the house and quickly turns to him, uttering his name with relief. Ranjan is taken aback by Shiv’s unexpected arrival. Reacting quickly, Shakti rushes towards Shiv and grabs his arm. Confused but concerned, Shiv asks if everything is alright. Shakti worries that if Shiv becomes angry, he will not spare them. She assures him that everything is fine and he asks again for confirmation. Meanwhile, Ranjan panics and confesses to his brother that Shiv will surely kill him if he finds out the truth. As they try to leave together, Shiv stops them in their tracks and remarks that Ranjan seems familiar to him. With fear in his eyes, Ranjan denies ever meeting Shiv before and hastily makes his escape. Shakti is convinced that there is more to this encounter and believes that uncovering the truth could prevent this unwanted marriage from taking place.
In her mind, Mandira says to herself, “I won’t allow Shiv and Shakti to come together.” Keertan asks if she called him? Mandira takes his phone and says I need it since my phone doesn’t work, he leaves. When Mandira checks Keertan’s phone, she finds Rimjhim’s number nowhere. Thank God, I knew Keertan wouldn’t date a girl like Rimjhim. She obtains her number from Ranjan and calls her from Keertan’s phone.
Rimjhim is taken aback by the sudden call. She answers and inquires why he is calling at this moment and playing these mind games. She feels trapped, unsure of his intentions, and confused by his conflicted words and actions. He had professed his love for her while remaining hidden behind a wall, causing her to fall for him without even seeing his face. Then, he invited her to his home with Shakti, further deepening her feelings. However, just as she was falling for him, he publicly humiliated her without remorse. And now, on the day of her haldi ceremony, he reaches out to her? She demands that he clarifies his true feelings towards her before abruptly ending the call. Mandira concludes that Keertan’s advances were all part of a ploy to win Shakti’s affections and Rimjhim had mistaken them for genuine gestures towards herself.
Shakti asks Shiv for his help. Shiv says we’re not friends, but Shakti says you have to otherwise Rimjhim will get married. Shiv asks why don’t you want Rimjhim married? What is wrong? From Keertan’s phone, Mandira calls Rimjhim again. Rimjhim cries and says you’re not saying anything, but you know once a girl falls in love, she goes beyond all boundaries. Mandira ends the call and says Keertan will be used to fool Rimjhim.
Shiv comes to Manorama and asks what he’s doing here? Shiv says Chacha invited me to all functions, so I’m here. I don’t want to reject people.. Shiv stares at Shakti. Manorama asks if he is talking about Shakti? He says I came here just to help. She says then help me by leaving. Chacha says stop it. Manorama gives him flowers and asks him to decorate the house. He agrees and gets started. Shakti asks him why he is here, but Shiv asks why he rejected me?
According to Shakti, visiting here will enhance the value of this function. Similarly, Shiv believes that our friendship would increase his worth. As they both lift the chair together, they share a loving gaze. Amused at Shiv’s distraction, Shakti chuckles as he stumbles. Ranjan spots them and worries that Mandira might be upset if Shiv recognizes him. He promptly calls Mandira and explains that since Shiv is present, he cannot fulfill her request. Mandira reassures him saying that Shiv’s memory isn’t reliable and she has already given him some medication. With this assurance, Ranjan agrees to carry out the task.
