Mandira says to Shakti, “I know you are hiding Shiv around. Is he hiding in the car trunk?” Her secret is out. The authorities are seeking your spouse for the murder of Gayatri. Stop it, says Shakti. When Mandira tells Shiv to leave, Shakti shoves her away and turns on the ignition. Mandira says that if you wish to go, you must kill me. I can’t do anything for Shiv, so if you want to die, that’s okay, says Shakti. Mandira walks away turns on the ignition, and leaves. Mandira cannot sacrifice her life, according to Shakti. I will stop at nothing to keep Shiv safe.
Mandira informs everyone on the porch that Shakti drove off with the car. Despite her attempts to stop her, Shakti refused to listen. In response to the inspector’s inquiry about Shakti’s whereabouts, Mandira says she is unsure. Raghunath then remembers how Shakti had promised him he would take care of Shiv. He reveals that he had asked Shakti to leave and fetch some medicine for Dadi. The inspector questions why Shakti was chosen for this task, to which Raghunath explains that Shakti was knowledgeable about Dadi’s medications as she is currently studying medicine.
According to the inspector, they will be arrested if they are shielding Shiv, and he is responsible for Gayatri’s death. However, Raghunath insists that Shiv is innocent. The inspector assures them that they will find the true culprit and leave. Raghunath then advises Mandira to allow Shakti to make her own decisions since he has lost Gayatri and cannot love Shiv now. He believes that only Shakti can save Shiv.
Shakti escorts Shiv to Manorama’s home, where his heart aches ,and he repeatedly utters Gayatri’s name. Manorama embraces him as Shakti notes that he isn’t openly mourning her. Manorama suggests that he is in a state of shock, having just lost his mother, and assures him that his pain will gradually diminish with time. Meanwhile, Gayatri’s presence still lingers among us.
Mandira expresses shock over Raghunath’s decision to support Shakti. She reminds Padma that Raghunath is willing to do anything to defend his son. Referring to Raghunath, Mandira points out how ironic it is that he used to abuse Gayatri while she was alive physically, yet now he acts as if he truly loves her. Keertan interrupts their conversation, and Mandira asks where he has been. He responds that he followed her orders and went into hiding.
Mandira informs us that the inspector has located Shiv’s phone, and it needs to be retrieved. Do you happen to have a police contact? We also need to erase the message Shiv sent to me. She shares Shiv’s password with him, and he agrees to take care of it. Padma questions Mandira about why Shakti would take Shiv, to which Mandira responds that she is confident he is at his Chachi’s residence.
As Shiv reminisces about his time with Gayatri, Shakti helps him get dressed and baths him. As they embrace, Shakti sheds tears while Dharam watches on with a heavy heart. Meanwhile, Manorama destroys Shiv’s clothing.
Despite Shakti’s insistence, Shiv initially refuses to eat the food she offers him. Manorama reminds them that life must continue, even with people coming and going. Shakti pleads with Shiv to eat for her sake, and eventually, he silently relents and eats from her hands.
After receiving Shiv’s phone from the inspector, Keertan quickly checks his messages. The inspector expresses concern about handing over the phone, but Keertan assures him that he has already paid for his silence. He then deletes a message between Shiv and Mandira before calling her. Mandira confidently states that there is no incriminating evidence against her and that Shiv will now face imprisonment. She confirms that she has a backup plan in place for them.
