Manorama’s brother tells her that if she acts like a cheap woman, Rimjhim won’t be happy in their house, and she shouldn’t forget that we agreed to take her even after your younger daughter had a scandal. Shakti sees Manorama’s gold bangles come off and thinks I won’t let them take them. She gifts Ranjan’s sister Bubbly the bangles. They all look on. Shakti and Rimjhim are worried. Bubbly says it’s not too heavy but okay since this is her first gift.
Ranjan urges us to depart, but Shakti interjects with a suggestion. Sporting a smile, she declares her desire to form connections by following our tradition of tying rakhi to brother-in-laws. Manorama expresses confusion but ultimately agrees with Shakti’s idea. Although Ranjan reminds us of our time constraints, Manorama argues that the ritual will only strengthen our bond. As Shakti moves to tie the rakhi on Dharam’s wrist, Ranjan hesitates but is soon pulled in by Shakti’s insistence. Before Shakti can complete the gesture, Bubbly says that only real sisters can tie rakhi in their household.
Shakti explains her dilemma, stating that she must tie the rakhi she already has to someone. After looking at Ranjan’s brother and cousin, Bubbly encourages him to accept Shakti’s rakhi. Once tied, Shakti performs his aarti and inquires about her gift. He offers her 1000rs, but Shakti hesitates as it may cause people to perceive her as a servant. He recalls using the same argument with Manorama before trying to give her more money. However, Shakti dismisses his offer and jokingly remarks on his frugality at the first function. He then asks what she would like instead, and she requests the gold bangles that Bubbly is wearing. He declines, stating that they were explicitly given as a gift for Bubbly.
Shakti reminds us always to share our gifts, and as your sister, I hope you don’t come across as being miserly. It would be uncomfortable for all of us if our guests were to discover that you didn’t give me a gift. Ranjan reluctantly takes the gift from Bubbly and gives it to Shakti, who reassures her that she will always defend her family. As the family leaves, Ranjan’s brother angrily discards Shakti’s rakhi. In return, Shakti returns the bangles to Manorama and promises to protect them from anyone who tries to take them away from her mother. Manorama embraces her daughter gratefully.
Chacha calls Dadi, inviting her to Rimjhim’s gauri poojan at the mandir. Dadi promises to try and attend, but if she can’t make it, she will definitely send the kids. After ending the call, she notices Shiv and Nandu having a heated discussion in a corner. She turns to Gayatri and asks for an update on the situation. Gayatri replies uncertainly, saying she doesn’t know what’s happening between them. As they listen in, Shiv declares his intentions to confront Shakti about denying their friendship. Nandu expresses concern about potential backlash, and Shiv reassures her before leaving to speak with Shakti.
Dadi tells Gayatri that you know why Shakti denied him friendship, she knows that they can’t be friends, I’m sure she has feelings for him, Shiv is a fool who doesn’t comprehend what’s in his heart, but she knows she loves him. We need to help them if we want them to unite. She calls Shiv and says she needs to come with me to perform a pooja for your hospital position. Shiv murmurs that he plans to meet Shakti tomorrow.
Dadi inquires about his availability. I plan to attend Rimjhim’s pooja on my own and yours. He asks, “Really? Will her family be present?” I offer to accompany him and participate in the rituals, so he goes with Nandu. Dadi chuckles and suggests that he may have agreed because Shakti will also be there. Gayatri expresses her concern that she hopes Shakti will reciprocate his feelings, too. Mandira, who overhears their conversation from hiding, remarks on how these women are playing matchmaker without considering Shiv’s past love experiences. She predicts that this pooja will mark the beginning of Shiv and Shakti’s separate paths.
