The Shiv Shakti (Zee) 9th September 2023 Written Episode, Written Update
Chacha was disappointed to hear that Shakti couldn’t find the pooja leaves. However, Shiv soon arrived with the leaves and mentioned they were known for fostering friendships. Curious about Shiv’s presence, Manorama asked Shakti if she had spoken to him. She denied it and turned to Chacha. Shiv explained that Dadi couldn’t come, so he and Nandu came. Chacha then requested Shakti to take the leaves, which made her smile. While Manorama was wary of their presence and feared something negative might occur, a guest insisted that Shakti accept the leaves for Rimjhim’s pooja. However, Manorama countered by stating that receiving things from others for the ceremony wasn’t necessary, hoping to avoid any potential misfortunes.
We don’t need these, Shakti says. The priest says the pooja cannot be performed without leaves. Shakti says if we have faith in Lord Shiv, he will accept our prayers without leaving and forgive us for what we cannot accept. Shiv looks at me. She thinks she knows she is talking about us, and I won’t take her decision. She needs to accept my friendship. I want to be in her life, and I want to know about her decision.
In the temple, the women begin their prayers to Lord Shiv. The deity smiles at Shakti and asks why she and Rimjhim appear distressed. Shakti apologizes to Lord Shiv for not having any leaves for her offerings. Nandu explains that they had come to speak with Shakti, but their presence disrupted her worship. However, Lord Shiv reassures them that nothing is ever incomplete for Shakti when he is present. He then informs Chacha of his need to go to the hospital and requests permission to perform the necessary rituals before leaving. Upon receiving the Chacha’s approval, Shiv approaches Shakti and places leave in her hands while she continues with her puja. Rimjhim remarks to Manorama that their love is palpable even from a distance. Dharam agrees, noting that they are truly destined for each other.
Nandu remarks that their love is evident to everyone present. Keertan arrives, visibly upset by their closeness. Determined to thwart their budding romance, Keertan vows to put an end to their love story by resorting to violence. Meanwhile, as Shakti engages in the pooja, her gaze fixates on Shiv. He extends a leaf, placing it reverently at the feet of Lord Shiv. Shakti ponders why Shiv consistently risks himself to fulfill her aspirations. Memories of him referring to her as a friend resurface, causing her inner turmoil. Attempting to depart, she feels his firm grip on her hand. Requesting to be released, Shiv insists on conversing, rejecting her rejection of his friendship proposal on account of his seniority. Playfully, he mentions his charming dimples, coaxing a smile from Shakti. Determined to make her accept his friendship, Shiv’s playful demeanor contrasts with Manorama’s disapproving glare.
Ranjan’s family arrives at the location. Manorama and her family join them. Shakti attempts to approach, but Shiv intervenes, questioning her intentions. He reminds her of the previous phone call and asks why she now appears upset. He wonders if she shares his pain and asks why they cannot have a friendship. Rimjhim acknowledges his consideration for her emotions and notices Keertan crying outside the temple. She considers if he is grieving for their relationship as she prepares to marry someone else but realizes it is too late. Meanwhile, Keertan broods over the thought of Shiv and Shakti together and storms off in anger. As Ranjan spots Shakti, he contemplates holding her hand while Shiv continues talking to her until Ranjan approaches them.
