Suhaagan 16th August 2024 Written Episode Update begins with Manju telling Vedant that when Prabha left, he was too young to remember her face. Vedant recalls a memory of Prabha blessing him and Swara but refuses to accept her presence now. He angrily declares that she means nothing to him and lashes out, breaking a rack in frustration. Vedant questions why Prabha returned after abandoning him in childhood. Swara tries to calm him, while Prabha addresses him as her son. Vedant warns her not to call him beta.
Koel smirks, thinking Prabha will now face humiliation. Vedant hugs Koel, acknowledging her sacrifices and taunts Prabha for leaving her infant son behind. Swara remembers warning Prabha earlier that as long as Koel was around, danger would persist. She advised Prabha to make Koel confess her truth and secretly recorded the conversation, promising Prabha she would break her Teej fast in her own home.
Back in the present, Swara says they must discover who tried to harm Prabha. Manju asks Prabha directly. Prabha looks at Dhwani, but Abhimanyu interrupts, admitting he locked her in the storeroom, mistaking her for a thief. Swara questions him, but Abhimanyu insists he had no idea about the poisonous smoke. Swara refuses to believe he could do such a thing. Koel, however, jumps in, accusing Swara of doubting Abhi just like others doubted her on Teej day. Koel insists Prabha came to snatch her rights.
Koel emotionally manipulates Vedant, saying Prabha ruined her Teej and may snatch her husband and family. Vedant reassures Koel that she has rights over everything, asking Prabha to leave. A doctor arrives, advising Prabha to get checked at the hospital for smoke poisoning. Vedant also asks the doctor to check Dadi, who had fallen from her bed. He warns Prabha to leave before he returns, declaring he would rather die than see her face again. Rudra tells Prabha to at least respect her son’s wish and leave.
As Prabha prepares to go, Koel cruelly pushes her and reminds her that she was dragged out once before. Koel warns that if Prabha has any shame left, she should leave by herself. Swara tries to intervene but Koel mocks her defeat, boasting that even God cannot bring Prabha back into the house. Just then, a miracle happens. Dadi enters the room with Vedant’s help, walking on her own. Everyone is shocked and overjoyed. Swara praises Ambe Maa, saying this miracle occurred only because Prabha returned.
The doctor confirms there had been no movement in Dadi’s body earlier, but something special must have triggered her recovery. Manju insists Prabha should stay, as her presence is clearly helping Dadi heal. Koel resists and tries to throw Prabha out again, but Dadi drops a vase to stop her and gestures toward Prabha. Swara insists that Dadi wants Prabha to stay. Vedant finally declares that Prabha will not leave the house. Koel is stunned.
Precap: Swara walks in with Prabha and tells her she has fulfilled one promise and will now restore her rights. Koel fumes with anger and vows that this Nag Panchami, she will kill Swara.
