The episode begins with Bindiya, Krishna, Amma, and Baldev arriving at the temple. Amma reminds Baldev that they left the aarti plate in the car. Krishna insists on fetching it, despite Baldev’s concern about his recent surgery. As Krishna retrieves the plate, Bindiya joins him and asks him to take out the sweets boxes from the trunk. Krishna obliges, but as they prepare to return to the temple, a sudden explosion from the car shakes the surroundings. Baldev and Amma scream in horror as Krishna and Bindiya are caught in the deadly blast.

Meanwhile, Indu anxiously waits at home, wondering why Baldev is not answering her calls. Soon, Baldev and Amma return with baby Swara in their arms. Indu, noticing their tear-stricken faces, demands to know what happened. Baldev reveals the tragic news—Krishna and Bindiya have died in the car explosion. Overcome with grief and anger, Indu directs her frustration at baby Swara, blaming her for their deaths. In her rage, she declares Swara to be a curse and refuses to acknowledge her as part of the family, leaving everyone in shock. Baldev is devastated as Indu orders them to discard the child.

20 Years Later:

The family gathers for Krishna and Bindiya’s death anniversary puja. Indu instructs Pandit Ji to begin the rituals, but Baldev insists on waiting for Swara.

Elsewhere, Dhwani is seen posing for the camera while the song Jhumka plays in the background. Her mother scolds her, reminding her of the solemn occasion and cautioning her against disrespecting the day. Dhwani dismisses the concerns, stating she will never bow down to anyone.

As the puja continues, Indu firmly states that Swara should not attend the ceremony. However, Swara enters, wearing a red dress and ghungroos, and silently pays her respects to her parents before beginning to dance. Dhwani, watching her, mocks her actions, calling her Umrao Jaan for performing on her parents’ death anniversary. Nidhi notices that Swara is wearing Bindiya’s old dress, which adds to the tension.

While dancing, Swara scatters flower petals on the ground, provoking Indu’s wrath. Enraged, Indu confronts her, accusing her of being responsible for her parents’ deaths and calling her inauspicious. As emotions run high, Swara hands Baldev a letter. Fearing bad news, Indu hesitates, but Baldev reads it aloud. It is a heartfelt message from Bindiya, written before her death, in which she expresses her love and hope for Swara’s future. Overwhelmed, Swara retrieves the letter and holds onto it, tears streaming down her face.

Dhwani interprets Swara’s signs, explaining that she had found the letter while reminiscing about her parents. Indu remains cold, but Baldev acknowledges Swara’s resilience, believing Krishna and Bindiya would be proud of her. Amma points out the diya formed by the scattered flower petals, calling it a sign of hope. However, Indu bitterly remarks that showing remorse after committing a sin means nothing.

Baldev, moved by Swara’s strength, offers her a credit card to help with her needs, but Swara refuses. Amma urges her to accept it, but to everyone’s shock, Dhwani steps forward and takes it instead, leaving everyone stunned.
