Indiya says Krishna does not accept her as his wife. She insists that his doubts will be removed if he accepts her as his wife. When she removes a mangalsutra and Sindoor, Krishna says he won’t put them on her. Krishna is forced to put the mangalsutra on Bindiya’s neck after the lawyer tells him that he has to do it since she has the right to this till they get a divorce. She asks Krishna to do it, or else it might turn against him.
As Payal stands there, she appears to be defeated. Vikram expresses his surprise at the strength and intelligence of a woman working in the fields. The female lawyer issues a warning to Krishna, stating that if he commits any illegal acts or causes harm to her in the next six months, he and his family will face jail time. Bindiya instructs her teacher to take Payal away. However, Payal firmly states that Bindiya cannot touch her belongings. Krishna tells Payal not to enter his room. In response, Bindiya claims ownership of the room shared by herself and Krishna, insisting that no one else has a right to it.
Bindiya informs Krishna that she will call her lawyer if he disagrees with her. In response, Krishna questions if she is blackmailing him. Payal then pleads with Bindiya not to touch her belongings, but Bindiya insists that Payal pack her things independently. She drags Payal to her room and grips her hand tightly, causing Payal to yell in frustration and stumble. Meanwhile, Phulmati and her sister eagerly anticipate Payal’s embarrassment. Bindiya returns with Payal’s luggage and declares that it’s time for them to bid farewell. Overwhelmed with emotion, Payal sobs and confesses to Krishna that she cannot bear to be around such cruel individuals any longer as they constantly humiliate her.
She must trust Krishna, and he says he won’t do that. He joins his hands and tells Bindiya’s villagers that he respects them greatly, so they must stop intervening and not waste their time. He promises Dadi that he won’t hurt Bindiya, but Dadi says they will leave if he makes a promise to her first. As a promise to Dadi, Krishna assures her that he won’t hurt her unless she forces him to.
Bengaliya asks Krishna what right Payal would have to stay in this house for the next six months. She frees Payal from the pressure of being her sister. She says that if Payal stays in this house for the next six months as a spinster, society will point fingers at them. Baldev agrees with her and says Payal cannot stay in this house. Vikram says it’s best to be safe now since the police are involved.
Since it is late in the evening, Baldev says Payal must leave the house the next morning. Vikram says Baldev is right, and Sakshi also supports her. Payal begins her drama and tears. She asks Krishna not to do this with her because she cannot survive without him. She will do it without him.
