At the start of the Episode, Bindiya places ghee in the diya, joined by Indu who brings Payal along. With a smile, Payal joins them in the temple. As Indu approaches, Bindiya inquires if she needs anything. Indu informs her that it is Payal’s duty to tend to the diya. Doubtful, Bindiya shares her concern about Payal’s ability to stay awake all night. Meanwhile, Payal worries about fulfilling this task. Indu argues that if she can do it, then so can Payal and advises against underestimating others. Bindiya expresses doubts about Payal being able to stay awake throughout the night to which Krish interrupts and says that Payal is capable of anything.
Payal agrees to follow Aunty’s instructions, as Krish suggests she call her “Mummy”. Indu gives a nod in agreement. She reassures Aunty that she will never let her down and expresses gratitude for accepting her. Payal then respectfully touches Aunty’s feet, casting a sly look at Bindiya who becomes emotional. However, Krish tells Bindiya to leave as she is not needed there. As Bindiya departs with tears in her eyes, Payal plots to get rid of her, thinking she may have to change her identity if that doesn’t work out. Krish consoles Payal and assures her that she can handle it effortlessly. Payal then takes a break from watching videos on her phone and messages Krish to meet up. Meanwhile, Krish is resting in Baldev’s room.
Unable to sleep, Bindiya turns to Ambe Maa for comfort. However, she is unable to shake off her doubts about Payal and feels the need to check on Babu ji’s mannat. Meanwhile, Payal wonders who is approaching. Bindiya arrives and gazes at the diya, only to have Payal place a hand on her shoulder and claim responsibility for it as per her sasumaa’s wishes. Bindiya clarifies that she came to see the Akhand Jyoot, but Payal insists on involving Krishna in their conversation. Bindiya sees through her charade and questions the selfishness of her love for Krishna, just like how it was with herself. Unable to defend herself, Payal asks Bindiya to leave. In response, Bindiya reiterates that she does not trust Payal in the slightest and storms off.
Payal comes in and feels exhausted. She decides to take a quick 5-minute nap, covering herself with a bedsheet. Meanwhile, Krish wakes up and notices the jug is empty. He goes outside and sees that the akhand jyoot is about to go out. In a hurry, he rushes back inside and wakes Payal up. Requesting her help, he asks her to bring the ghee and add it to the akhand jyoot. Unfortunately, Payal accidentally drops the ghee can on the floor. Krish takes the ghee from the aarti plate and puts it in the akhand jyoot himself. However, as Payal steps on the spilled ghee, she falls down hard. With no time to spare as the akhand jyoot is at its last flame, Krish is unable to help her up since he’s holding it with his hand. At this moment, Baldev wakes up and wonders if Krish has gone to Payal’s room. He comes out of his room only to see Bindiya placing her hand on the akhand jyoot.
When Krishna looks at her, he runs to Payal. He makes Payal sit down. Bindiya comes to Payal and asks if she fell badly. Payal blames her for being happy seeing her hurt, and says I love you, but you don’t love me or trust me. According to her, you said I couldn’t handle it, then you opened the ghee can, causing it to fall away from my hand, and then you checked the ghee so that it looked great in everyone’s eyes. She continues to blame her.
Bindiya urges you to have taken care of Akhand Jyoot by staying awake, but instead you fell asleep. She then speaks to Krishna, acknowledging that he showed trust in her, but raises the question of what would have happened if neither of them had been present. Baldev overhears their conversation from a distance. Krish reassures Payal that the task is simply a ritual, but one that carries great responsibility. He then adds that if she was unable to fulfill it, he could have assigned it to someone else. Payal defends herself by stating that she was only asleep for two minutes. Krish responds by questioning the value of her justification and instructs her to go change her clothes. Payal exits the area as instructed.
The Akhand Jyoot is related to Babu ji’s devotion and trust. Bindiya says I will take care of it, and if you think someone else should stay there, that’s fine too. Krish leaves.
A man arrives in his room and falls on the table. Krish holds him and shouts Papa, and Bindiya runs from there when she hears Krish shouting Papa. Bindiya prays to Ganapati bappa and says Jai Shri Ganesh. He says I told you not to get out of bed many times. Bindiya asks Babu ji if you’re okay. Baldev says he’s just feeling weak. Krish says I won’t leave you alone for even a second and instructs Bindiya to take care of Akhand Jyoot.
