Suhaagan 1st August 2024 Written Episode Update begins with everyone shocked to see that the groom in the mandap is Abhimanyu, not Dholram. Swara rushes to Dholram, unties his hands, and learns Abhimanyu had taken his place. Abhi openly declares that he likes Dhwani and married her to save her from humiliation. Vedant, Rudra, and Vrinda are stunned.
Rudra scolds Abhi for marrying without consent, while Vrinda refuses to accept the marriage, calling Dhwani unworthy. Abhi defends Dhwani, saying he convinced her. When Vrinda tries to wipe off Dhwani’s sindoor, Abhi stops her, asking everyone to respect their marriage. Koel intervenes and manipulates the situation, revealing in a flashback how she convinced Abhi to marry Dhwani by emotionally blackmailing him about Naina’s happiness. With Dhwani playing along, Abhi fell into Koel’s trap.
Dhwani apologises to the family, pretending to be humble, but secretly taunts Swara by saying she is now her dewrani and will always remain a thorn in her life. Swara counters, vowing to save Abhi and the family from Dhwani’s conspiracy.
Meanwhile, Vedant walks away in anger. Koel follows him, cleverly instigating him against Swara while acting guilty. Vedant tells her not to blame herself but admits he knows how to deal with Swara. Later, when Swara tries to care for him, he rejects her, accusing her of forcing their marriage. Swara calmly insists that the power of sindoor and her determination will eventually win his heart.
Precap: Vedant checks CCTV footage as Dhwani accuses Swara of trying to kill her. The police arrive, and Swara questions how they can be sure she is guilty when no one saw her face.
