Suhaagan 20th August 2024 Written Episode Update on worldofentertainment.in
Suhaagan 20th August 2024 Written Episode begins with the priest asking Vedant to take five rounds around the pyre. With tears in his eyes, Vedant completes the rounds and breaks down. Rudra hugs him to console him. The priest then instructs Vedant to light the pyre, but Vedant cries that he cannot do it. Swara, still conscious inside, pleads in her heart for Vedant to hear her heartbeat and save her. Unable to proceed, Vedant runs away in despair.
Koel tells everyone that Vedant is not in the state to perform the ritual. She says if they wait longer, the rites will be delayed until the next day. Rudra asks who will now give fire to the body. The priest says anyone close to her can perform the duty. Koel quickly asks Shlok to do it. As Shlok prepares with the firewood, Swara prays to Bholenath to help Vedant realise the truth.
Vedant, meanwhile, reaches a temple and questions Mahadev. He asks how His gann could take his wife’s life on the sacred day of Naag Panchami. He even vows to stop Naag Panchami puja in his house. As he places his hand over a flame, a snake charmer arrives and stops him. The charmer says that it is because of their Naag Panchami puja that Mahadev sent him here. He reveals he found a Krait snake at Vedant’s haveli. When Vedant says Swara died due to the bite, the charmer explains that the poison causes paralysis and numbness, making it appear like death, but the person can survive for four to five hours if given the antidote. Vedant panics, realising Swara is on the pyre, and rushes back.
Strong winds blow, extinguishing the firewood. Baldev says it feels like Ambe Maa does not want the funeral to happen. Koel insists on continuing and tells the priest to relight the pyre. Vedant runs frantically, determined to stop the rites. He falls but gets up again, swearing to save Swara. Just as Shlok is about to light the pyre, Vedant arrives, pulls away the firewood, and declares that burning someone alive is wrong. Rudra objects, calling it inauspicious to stop the funeral. Ignoring everyone, Vedant removes the logs and lifts Swara from the pyre.
He carries her to the snake charmer, who applies antidote to her foot. Vedant anxiously asks why she is not waking up even after forty-five minutes. The charmer replies that it is now in God’s hands. Dhwani and Koel insist she cannot survive, but Vedant argues that last rites are only for the dead, and Swara is alive. Rudra and Koel try to convince him otherwise, asking him to let her soul get mukti. Vedant goes to the temple, prays to God with folded hands, and begs for Swara’s life.
Back at the pyre, Koel tells Shlok and Abhi to lift Swara for final rites. Just then, Shlok notices Swara’s eyes moving and announces it. Rudra calls Vedant urgently. Vedant rushes back as Swara gains consciousness. Overwhelmed, he makes her drink water. Baldev says Vedant’s faith has won.
Manju compares Vedant to Satyavaan, saying that just like Savitri saved her husband, he has saved his suhaagan. Amma and Indu also praise him. Shlok feels guilty for giving fire earlier. Rudra thanks the snake charmer, but the charmer simply leaves. Swara, now awake, declares that nothing can happen to her while Vedant is with her. Baldev feels weak, but insists he is fine since Swara is safe. Rudra decides they will all return home. Indu says they must get Baldev treated by a doctor. Swara asks Shlok to care for Dadu, and Manju hugs her, thanking God she is alive. Swara then reveals the truth that the snake was deliberately made to bite her.
