Suhaagan 28th June 2024 Written Update begins with Swara approaching Vedant and Dhwani. Sensing her arrival, Dhwani immediately drops Vedant’s hand and teases him, calling Swara his “would-be wife.” Vedant gazes at Swara, recalling their dance challenge. Dhwani cheekily claims Vedant was speaking about Swara and turned quiet as soon as she appeared. She says he even got flowers for her but was too shy to give them directly and asked Dhwani to do it. Before leaving, Dhwani jokingly says she doesn’t want to be a “bone in the meat.” Swara signals her to stay, so she agrees but nudges her to speak to Vedant.

Dhwani inwardly notes that Vedant still seems confused, despite the signs she gave him earlier. She urges Swara to thank Vedant for the flowers. Swara signs her gratitude, and Dhwani interprets it, saying that Swara will always cherish this moment. She then drops the revelation to Vedant that Swara is mute. Vedant is stunned. Swara gestures toward the temple, and Vedant interprets it as her wish to bow her head before the deity.

As Swara walks forward, her dupatta accidentally gets caught on Vedant’s watch, pulling him along as he tries to untangle it. Meanwhile, Koel is on a call with the doctor, asking him to come for Rudra’s checkup. Though the doctor insists it’s unnecessary, Koel manipulates him by offering to help his wife gain City Club membership. The doctor finally agrees.

Back at the temple, Swara bends down to pray and picks up a sacred thread. As Vedant continues to free his hand, Swara unexpectedly ties the holy thread around his wrist, shocking him. She then picks up the flowers and signs to Dhwani, who interprets: Swara tied the thread so that their relationship never breaks. Vedant, clearly overwhelmed, says he has urgent work and leaves abruptly. Swara is left stunned and teary-eyed, asking Dhwani why he left. Dhwani pretends not to know but thinks to herself that she already told Vedant that Swara is just a name—she lacks a voice and can’t speak.

Vedant, now outside in his jeep, processes the situation. He realizes he mistook Swara for Dhwani during their earlier conversations and feels deeply guilty. He tries to remove the sacred thread but hesitates.

Dhwani tries to reassure Swara, saying Vedant probably had some work. Swara signals her to leave. Dhwani walks away and, from a distance, cruelly declares that even Goddess Ambe Maa can’t change the fact that Vedant loves her, not Swara. Swara turns her eyes toward the idol of Ambe Maa in silent prayer.

At home, Vedant is still troubled. He enters Rudra’s room and sees the doctor. Surprised, he asks what’s wrong, but Rudra claims he’s fine. Koel insists his blood pressure is high, but Rudra brushes it off. Vedant, however, keeps his thoughts to himself, unwilling to tell Rudra that he doesn’t want to marry Swara. Rudra then asks if Vedant liked Swara, to which Vedant replies vaguely, “as it should be.” Koel internally notes how emotional people like Vedant always think of their families before themselves.

Meanwhile, Swara prays before Ambe Maa and begins to dance, letting her emotions flow. The dancer who once helped her during Rudra’s hospital emergency sees her and is mesmerised. Swara accidentally stumbles and falls on her. Concerned, the dancer asks if she’s okay. Swara signs yes. The dancer looks at her with admiration.

Back at home, Koel tells Rudra to complete his checkup, and the doctor advises him to avoid any shocks for the sake of his health.

Precap:
Swara signs something to Dhwani, and Dhwani interprets it arrogantly—claiming Vedant belongs to her and Swara can never take him away.
