Suhaagan 29th June 2024 Written Update starts with a touching scene at the temple. A renowned Kathak dancer recognizes Swara and appreciates her graceful dance moves. She recalls how Swara had once learned her steps secretly like Eklavya, and senses that Swara is troubled. Swara touches her feet and takes blessings. Just then, Baldev arrives and informs the dancer that Swara is engaged to Vedant, Rudra Pratap’s son. The dancer blesses Swara with Ambe Maa’s grace and offers to teach her Kathak.

Meanwhile, Vedant confides in his bedridden Dadi about his emotional turmoil, but gets interrupted by a call. Abhimanyu tries to cheer him up, asking about his first meeting with Swara. At the same time, Koel’s sister-in-law shows Abhimanyu a video of Vedant hugging a girl, which turns out to be Dhwani.

Vedant goes to meet Dhwani. She hugs him, but he doesn’t reciprocate. Noticing this, Dhwani emotionally manipulates him, pretending to be a victim of circumstance. She claims she sacrificed her love for Swara due to her status as a servant’s daughter and the favors Swara’s family did for hers. She insists this is their last meeting, and Vedant is swayed.

Abhimanyu arrives and confronts Vedant, reminding him of his engagement to Swara. Vedant decides to call Swara and cancel the wedding, telling her he can’t marry her because he doesn’t love her—but Dhwani stops him from mentioning her name.

Unbeknownst to them, Shlok overhears the entire conversation and is stunned. Vedant tells Dhwani to go home while Abhimanyu questions his betrayal of Rudra’s promise. Vedant insists true love matters more than promises.

Back at home, Swara asks Shlok about the call. Shlok hides the painful truth but notices Swara’s growing attachment to Vedant. She signs to him that she has understood Vedant’s issue. Shlok is heartbroken, thinking about how far he’ll go to protect her heart—even if it means making sacrifices of his own.
