Suhaagan 8th August 2024 Written Episode begins with Vedant asking Swara to take her medicine so she can recover faster. Swara agrees, and after he makes her take the medicine, she leans her head on his shoulder. She notices Koel and Dhwani watching and thinks to herself that she feels fine when resting on Vedant’s shoulder, but his stepmother and her reflection feel the pain.
The next morning, Swara dresses up, applies a bindi, and decides to keep the Teej fast for Vedant even though she knows he does not love her. She touches his feet to take blessings. Vedant wakes up and asks why she is doing this. Swara says she has kept the fast for him. Vedant scolds her, reminding her of her accident and saying he does not consider their marriage real. Swara replies that despite everything, she believes she will be his wife for seven births.
Koel tells Dhwani that Swara has decided to keep the fast. She prepares a decorated plate for her and looks at the sindoor box, remembering that Teej was the day when she achieved what she had always desired. Later, Swara performs Tulsi puja when Prabha, wearing a veil, secretly comes to her. Prabha gives her shagun for her first puja and hopes it goes well. Swara promises that before the day ends, Prabha will be welcomed openly in the house. Prabha warns her not to make promises she cannot fulfill, recalling how Koel created misunderstandings on a Teej day years ago that led to her being ousted by Rudra. Swara insists that things will improve and misunderstandings will be cleared.
Prabha leaves as Rudra is out for his morning walk. Swara quickly touches Prabha’s feet for blessings, and Prabha wishes her a long married life before slipping away. Rudra arrives and questions Swara about the woman. Swara lies, saying it was the laundry lady who refused to take clothes due to Teej. Rudra instructs her to make proper arrangements and avoid mistakes. Swara assures him that this Teej will bring a change everyone will remember.
Later, the Shukla and Sharma families gather at Sharma’s house. Vedant asks Naina how she is, and she replies she will be happy as long as he keeps Swara happy. Swara tells Naina that everything is good, and Vedant takes care of her though he can be arrogant at times. Indu interrupts, criticising Swara for being too talkative at her in-laws’ house. She mocks her sharp tongue, but Baldev defends Swara, saying she will make them proud.
Meanwhile, Nidhi compliments the decorations, and Koel mentions that three new couples will perform the puja. Indu argues that rituals matter more than decorations and points out that the swing is placed in the wrong direction. Koel corrects her and teases Indu about her age. Their lighthearted banter makes everyone laugh.
Koel then approaches Swara and offers her a gift, showing a sixteen-tola ancestral waist belt. Swara becomes suspicious about Koel’s true intentions.
Precap: Dhwani keeps an eye on Swara and Vedant, hoping they remain distracted while Koel sneaks into Swara’s bedroom to steal. As Koel tries to leave the room, Swara walks toward it and notices her.
