Angad requests that Sahiba vacate his residence, as he finds it difficult to bear her presence. However, Sahiba explains that the recent tragedy has had a devastating effect on her and reminds him that this is her home and family. Despite her pleas, Angad insists that she has caused great pain to the family and must leave. The Brar family remains silent, tears streaming down their faces. Akaal regrets not making this decision sooner, which could have saved Inder’s life. Jasleen and Garry urge Sahiba to stay, but Manveer and Akaal intervene. With a heavy heart, Sahiba bids farewell to the Brar Mansion, reminiscing about the happy moments she shared with Angad. As she leaves, Angad breaks a photo frame of them together.
After boarding a bus with an unknown destination, Sahiba is approached by the conductor for her ticket. She explains that she doesn’t have any money. In response, the conductor requests her gold chain as a fine. Sahiba reluctantly hands over her chain, but the situation gets interrupted by a puppeteer who questions the conductor’s actions. He argues that taking a girl’s gold chain in exchange for just a 20 rs ticket is unfair and demands that he return the chain and pay back the remaining 19800 rs. The conductor defends himself by stating that if Sahiba does not purchase a ticket, she must pay a fine. The puppeteer insists that he should take responsibility for buying Sahiba’s ticket instead of taking her valuable possession. At this point, the conductor returns Sahiba’s chain and asks for clarification on who the puppeteer is. With confidence, the puppeteer introduces himself as Diljeet – someone who is like a brother, friend, and well-wisher to others – and hands over 20 rs to cover the cost of Sahiba’s ticket to the conductor.
She stands up to leave the bus and asks why he would give her a ticket. All of the casualties are taken to a medical camp after the driver loses control and the bus falls into a pit. Sahiba, who is severely injured, wakes up in a medical camp and asks the doctor if anyone died. The doctor says no, but many people were severely hurt. She asks the doctor to meet her and tell her more.
Angad cries, looking at the baby’s toys, and recalls renovating the room with Sahiba for his upcoming baby. Manveer comforts him and asks if he will pray for Inder in the Gurudwara. Inder says he wants to spend some time in the gurudwara alone. While Sahiba searches for a phone, Diljeet notices her and stops her. He asks if he is going to drop her off where she wishes or if an arrangement can be made.
Diljeet says she looks like she comes from a good family, so why was she traveling without a ticket? Has she fought with someone, or is she heartbroken? Sahiba asks him if he can give her his phone since she needs to make a call. Diljeet says he gave it to Uncle Ji and will get it back from him. He searches for uncle ji along with her.
Sahiba and Angad pass near without noticing and feel each other’s presence. Diljeet takes Sahiba’s phone and gives it to him.
Angad keeps his phone down, remembering Inder’s death. Sahiba says something and asks if Angad heard her. Angad tells her never to call him again. Sahiba feels even more shattered.
