When Sahiba’s ECG monitor goes blank, Angad panics and tries to wake her up. The doctor then gives Sahiba defibrillator shocks and takes Angad away. Sahiba doesn’t respond. The doctor informs Angad that his wife has died. Angad ignores her and asks Sahiba if she is okay, if it hurts, so please wake up. Seerat walks out in shock. Family members ask her why Angad called a doctor. Seerat remains silent.
When Ajith and Santosh walk towards the ICU to check, the nurse stops them and says no one can go in now. They plead for their daughter to be seen. The specialist rushes into the ICU without saying anything. Nurse warns them that if they don’t stop, she will send them out. Seerat tells them to go see Sahiba. Japjyoth says nothing will happen to Sahiba. Ajith asks Inder to speak to doctors.
Angad asks doctors to stop standing silently and transfuse blood to Sahiba. Doctors say it is too late now, Sahiba is gone. Manveer remembers Angad’s confrontation. Jasleen warns Seerat that Angad will shatter if anything happens to Sahiba, as Sahiba promised him he would return safely. Sahiba must stop being adamant and wake up, Angad tells doctors to stop talking rubbish.
Doctor tells Angad that they need to inform his family at 10:45 p.m. about Sahiba’s demise. Angad warns her not to lie. Doctor walks out and informs family that they tried their best to save Sahiba, but were unable. It is shocking to hear that. Santosh feels dizzy. Inder holds Ajith. Seerat reassures Keerat that Sahiba is fine and says that it is impossible. Sahiba is no longer alive, and Seerat shouts that she witnessed Sahiba die.
When the family enters Sahiba’s ICU room, they are crying. Angad asks them if they believe the doctor, Sahiba is fine. Sahiba opens her eyes to show the doctors wrong. He smiles and says Sahiba will return as promised. He asks her to speak. Sahiba says he spoke everything. The family says Sahiba will never speak again. Sahiba’s eyes are closed and Angad says she isn’t speaking anymore.
Gurleen consoles Santosh while Inder urges Angad to come to terms with Sahiba’s departure. Seerat supports Inder’s request for Angad to leave the premises. However, Angad remains firm in his belief, insisting he just spoke to Sahiba. As Inder exits, Akaal instructs him to inform their relatives of Sahiba’s passing. Seerat offers to take on the responsibility instead. Meanwhile, the doctor sends in nurses to prepare Sahiba’s body for transfer to the morgue by removing all necessary tubes and monitors. Despite their efforts, Angad interjects and tells them to stop. The nurses explain that they need to move the body as per protocol.
