Inspector Sahiba questions why he detained Diljeet. The inspector reports that they are looking into the disappearance of a girl. Sahiba queries his meaning, saying that Diljeet would never consider kidnapping someone who had complained to him. The inspector has reported Diljeet’s actions, claiming that the sister of a wealthy businessman in Ludhiana is missing.
Surinder says he tried to tell Sardarji that Diljeet was innocent and he found her phone in a truck, but Sardarji didn’t listen. Akeer asks Diljeet if that dirty uncle had hit him. Diljeet nods yes. Akeer says he won’t spare the dirty uncle. Sahiba tells the inspector he can’t keep Diljeet here without solid evidence. He lets Diljeet go home and leaves Akeer and Sahiba to call him if needed. Diljeet nods okay and leaves with Akeer and Sahiba.
Upon arriving at the hospital, Angad quickly informs the nurse of his relationship with Simran. Sahiba and Akeer tend to Diljeet’s injuries while cursing the man who had caused harm to Diljeet. Diljeet defends the man, stating that he is genuinely concerned for his sister and deeply cares for his family. Akeer vows to take action against this despicable individual. Diljeet then reveals that upon learning of his sister’s admission to Panesar City Hospital, the man rushed there. Curious, Sahiba asks if Simran is around 13-14 years old. Diljeet recalls seeing a photo of her as a young child. Sahiba shares her discovery of finding a semi-conscious girl muttering “bhaiya” (brother) and bringing her to Panesar Hospital. She intends to call the hospital and gather more information on the girl’s condition.
A nurse explains to Angad that Simran is severely dehydrated and taking heavy medication. Angad asks how she got to the hospital. Simran whispers Sahiba bhabhi. Angad is shocked and wonders why she is using Sahhiba’s name. The nurse tells Sahiba that she is fine and her brother is with her. Sahiba feels that she knows that girl. She feels a connection between them.
Akeer expresses his frustration towards a man who hit his friend, Yaara. Angad inquires Simran about her reason for climbing the school wall. Simran contemplates not informing him about Sahiba and keeping him away from her since she had caused him trouble. She explains that she climbed the wall to retrieve her friend’s kite but slipped, fell into a truck, and lost consciousness. After waking up, she called Angad, but her phone fell between grain bags when the driver applied brakes. Angad realizes that Diljeet is correct and feels remorseful. He asks Simran about the lady who dropped her off at the hospital. Simran responds, saying she doesn’t remember.
A sports cycle Akeer wishes for on his birthday will be given to him by Diljeet, and Akeer will be happy and rejoice. He insists that he will sleep with his parents. Diljeet says he built a big room for himself but wants to sleep in his parents’ room like a scared kid. He says he isn’t afraid. Diljeet takes Akeer into his room and makes him sleep. He imagines winning a cycle competition and gifting him a cycle as a gift.
When Angad tells Simran that she took Sahiba’s name in a semiconscious state, Simran says she has no idea how she got that name and will not retake it. Angad says maybe she saw a dream. Simran thinks she may have had a bad dream, so she takes Sahiba’s name. He walks out of her room and asks her to rest.
