When Sahiba walks into Japjyoth’s room, he asks who she is and if she needs anything. Sahiba says she wants to know something about Angad. Japjyoth asks if all is well with them. When she starts painting, Sahiba speaks to her and returns to her room. She thinks she should check if Angad had breakfast or not and finds his phone switched off.
While at a client meeting, Anang thinks that she could have called the landline if his phone was off. Angad starts meeting and imagines Sahiba as the client. Client asks if he said anything wrong, but he says no, it’s a good presentation. Veer alerts him and says the client is waiting. As a romantic song plays in the background, Angad imagines Sahiba as a client.
As Sahiba daydreams about Angad, he questions her supposed backbiting in front of Japjyoth. She dismissively responds that it’s none of his concern and he presses on, asking why she didn’t reach out to him. Sahiba explains that she couldn’t as his phone was switched off, prompting him to suggest she should have called his landline instead. This realization dawns on her before the meeting comes to an end.
Later, in reality, Angad calls her and expresses his worry for not hearing from her. She reminds him that his phone was off and asks if he had breakfast yet. When he responds in the negative, she playfully scolds him and threatens to come to his office like a true sikhni (devoted female Sikh) if he continues to neglect his health. Angad can’t help but smile at her words.
She stops Manveer from taking multiple medications, saying it is harmful to her. Manveer in her usual rude tone yells that Angad is satisfied with his daughter but that her son is angry with her. Manveer rudely asks why she should talk to her alone. Sahiba walks in and says she wants to talk to her alone. Manveer rudely asks why she should. When Sahiba messages her, she asks Manveer to come to the pool air after a while.
As Manveer asks, Sahiba says that it’s for someone’s sake. She waits at the poolside with a painting. Angad walks in. Sahiba shows him the photo. He asks if it’s a special painting. Sahiba says yes. When Manveer walks in, he gets emotional looking at the photo of her teaching Angad swimming as a child. She asks how she found out about it.
Sahiba updates Angad on how pleased he looks in the photo because his mother is by his side. Manveer shares that Angad had ventured into a deep pool alone and nearly drowned, causing him to develop a fear of water. However, she took it upon herself to teach him how to swim. Sahiba praises Manveer for helping Angad overcome his fear and considers him a crucial person in Manveer’s life. She then apologizes to Angad and asks for his forgiveness. Tearfully, Manveer apologizes to Angad as well. In response, Angad forgives her and reminds her to thank Sahiba for persuading him to learn how to swim.
She tries to leave. Angad holds her hand and hugs her. She reciprocates. He says she knows he can’t be angry at her for long, he loves her and mamma. She asks what. He says he means she should have medicine with love to get better soon. She asks whether he wants to say only this. He says yes. She walks away smiling.
