Angad was puzzled when Seerat mistook her for Sahiba and asked her to speak up. He had been left hanging the last time she didn’t say anything and simply ran off. When he turned her around, to his surprise, it was Seerat! She appeared to be feeling nervous. Angad questioned why she hadn’t revealed herself earlier while he was confiding in “Sahiba”. Seerat assured him that she would fetch Sahiba immediately and hurried away. As Angad remembered the past incident, he stopped Seerat and wondered if she had been the one who ran away that night while he poured his heart out to “Sahiba”. Manveer informed the family that she believed Angad wanted to separate from Sahiba and might even sign divorce papers, so she decided to go and bring Angad instead.
Angad drags Seerat to the rest of the family, who are shocked by his behavior and immediately ask why he is mistreating her. Angad clarifies that he never disrespects women but is unable to tolerate what Seerat did to him. Seerat requests a chance to explain herself, but an enraged Angad cuts her off, warning her not to speak until he permits it. Sahiba then asks for clarification on Seerat’s actions, prompting Angad to reveal that when Japjot entrusted her with the responsibility of their house, he had visited her college bearing gifts as an apology and to clear up any misunderstandings between them. However, Sahiba claims that he never showed up at all. Angad then explains that she could say that since she had already left when he arrived at her college. He also adds that upon returning home and going to Sahiba’s room in the dark due to a power outage, he had poured out his heart and apologized again, only it was actually Seerat pretending to be Sahiba who silently listened in hopes of driving a wedge between them.
Sahiba scolds Seerat for causing a rift between her and Angad. Hansraj is perplexed by the fact that Angad confessed his love for Sahiba to Seerat, believing her to be Seerat, and Seerat did not stop him. Seerat tries to defend herself, saying she wanted to intervene, but Angad had already spoken by then. Angad accuses Seerat of having malicious intentions towards him and being unable to bear the sight of her after she had told him she loved him. Despite this, he still forgave her when she apologized and blamed it on being under the influence of alcohol. The rest of the family is taken aback by this revelation. Jaspal asks Sahiba if she was aware of it. Sahiba admits that she knew and berates Seerat for scheming to portray herself as an angel in front of the family, especially Manveer. She adds that she was standing behind Angad and overheard him expressing his love, mistaking it for being directed towards Seerat.
They are exaggerating a small issue, and Seerat tries to justify her act. Sahiba says it’s a sin, not a mistake, and that she attempted to separate Angad from him. Angad says Seerat in lieu of friendship provoked him against Sahiba and repeatedly outlined how bad Sahiba is, so she lost his friendship and respect. Both continue tongue lashing Seerat for her heinous act while the family sits silently watching.
