The scene opens with Sachin arriving at his room. Sayali inquires if she should bring the food, to which he declines. She then mentions the chain, and Sachin confirms that he returned it to her. Their conversation catches Paresh’s attention, who overhears them. Sayali reveals that she spoke to Kishor and found out about Sachin’s act of mortgaging the chain to help him. Sachin explains that he didn’t want their father to know as it would hurt him to know he couldn’t help his friend of 30 years. He adds that their father would be happy knowing someone helped Kishor, so he did it for his sake. Sayali suggests telling this to Kaka instead…
He says he isn’t like that, he doesn’t count what he did for me, he’s a good man, and I won’t hurt him, whatever I do was for my father. Paresh cries and leaves. Sayali says you could have told me. He says why would I tell you? You destroyed my peace. He gets a call. He takes a ride request and leaves. In the morning, Paresh arrives at Sachin. Sachin asks him why he came here.
He says children run away from fathers these days, so why did you come here? Sachin says yes, I came back an hour ago, I was thinking to sleep in the car, but why did you come here? Paresh says you mortgaged the chain to help Kishor. Sachin asks who told you this? Paresh says I know it, and you have hidden this from everyone, so why do you love me so much?
Paresh says you are my life. He hugs him. Paresh says you have good qualities, but one bad quality, like drinking alcohol, is that you don’t understand Sayali. Sachin says the chain troubled me. Paresh says you’re both good at heart but won’t understand each other. Come home and rest.
At home, Sayali serves the food to Paresh and Sachin. Sachin expresses his enjoyment of the meal. Renu then arrives and voices her complaint about not being included in the meal. Paresh jokingly asks if she believes she needs an invitation as a guest. He invites her to join them for food. Renu clarifies that she was referring to Tejas not being called. Sachin suggests they finish their meal and offer the remaining food to Tejas. However, Renu disagrees with this plan. Suddenly, a man from a matrimonial service arrives at the house. Renu takes the opportunity to inquire about a potential match for Tejas. The man reveals that he has come up with a profile of an affluent girl, which pleases Renu. She then asks Sayali to prepare special tea for their guest, and Sayali promptly obeys this request.
According to Renu, the girl does not suit my son’s personality. Sachin finds this amusing and makes a joke at her expense. Paresh offers him some water. Renu also urges him to come and have a conversation with the man. Paresh then looks at the girl’s picture and remarks that the guy doesn’t have a job. The man says he informed the girl’s family about their numerous properties and believes the guy can take care of them after marriage without needing a job. Sachin suggests that they could hire a manager for this purpose. However, Paresh advises him to remain quiet. The man reveals that Tejas had run away from his previous wedding ceremony, resulting in the alliance being canceled. He claims to have informed the girl’s family about this incident, as well as other details, such as her getting married at 18 and having a five-year-old child from her late husband, making this her second marriage.
Renu is taken aback as she scolds him for seeking second-hand alliances. Sayali quickly hands her the tea, but Renu asks her to return it. The man who had made the unsavory suggestion continues to mock her. Sachin chimes in and agrees with Renu’s response, declaring himself as her fan. However, Renu is fed up and demands that the man leave immediately. Sayali is unsure what to do with the unwanted tea, but Sachin offers to take it off her hands. Paresh interrupts and suggests they put this matter aside for now. But Renu suspects that Sachin was behind sending this tactless agent their way. Sachin responds with bitterness, revealing how people often criticize him for carrying Tejas’ burden and judge his relationship with Sayali as if they are nothing more than circus animals on display. Paresh interjects again, advising Sachin to stop looking at girls for Tejas’ sake. This prompts Sachin to taunt Renu once more before Sayali intervenes, urging Renu to have Tejas’ horoscope checked just in case. And Sachin concludes by warning Renu about crossing the line with him.
Renu arrives to meet Shakku and expresses her concern about finding a suitable partner for Tejas. Shakku advises her to remain calm. Meanwhile, Vidya calls Roshni, who then begins to put on an act. Both Renu and Shakku overhear this conversation. Roshni apologizes for her behavior, explaining that her father is pressuring her to get married and move to Dubai as he plans to leave his property to her and her future husband. She also reveals that she wants nothing to do with him since he remarried. To ease the situation, Renu invites Roshni to sit down and assures her that she has held a special place in her heart for a long time now, and she would be honored if Roshni became a part of their family.
Roshni asks what you mean. Renu says you become my bahu, marry Tejas, take time, and tell me. Roshni smiles. Sayali meets Juhi, and they go to the temple. Roshni arrives home and meets Vidya. She tells her about Renu proposing Tejas’ alliance. Vidya asks her to speak to her mum. Juhi counsels Sayali on Sachin. They see Sachin there. Sayali asks why he came here. They go to him.
Sachin asks how you came here. Juhi says I came here for flower delivery, and Sayali felt terrible for fighting with you, so she came here to apologize to Bappa. He jokes on her. Juhi says forget it. He says she should apologize. He thinks she should go home with Sayali. She says her mother wants to give her the chain. He says I don’t want that. He gets a call and gets to pick up the customer. They leave as well.
Sachin says you don’t need my help. Sayali says you should forgive someone who realizes a mistake. He says you didn’t apologize to me. They argue.
During the morning, Sayali sweeps the ground. Roshni asks for Renu, who is inside. Sayali says she will call her. Roshni says I need a plate, so wash your hands and get it. Shakku comes. Roshni says the housemaid has a lot of attitude. Shakku says she is her bahu. She gets angry and says Roshni is sorry, I misunderstood. Renu welcomes her in.
Roshni says sorry, I thought your bahu was a maid, so I’ll apologize to her. Renu says no need, forget it, sit down. She asks Roshni, “Did you think about it?” Roshni asks if Tejas is home. Renu asks if I should call him. Roshni says no. Sayali gets a plate. Roshni apologizes. Sayali says society has made a mistake by believing bahus as free maids.
