The scene unfolds as Tejas answers Roshni’s call and deceives her. Curious, Roshni questions Sayali’s presence. Tejas responds with uncertainty. Relieved by his response, Roshni hangs up and muses that at least he didn’t quit his job. Sayali discovers a lunch box nearby and inquires about it. Wary of the consequences, Tejas cautions her about Sachin finding out she came with a stranger. Sharp-witted, Sayali reveals that she introduced Sachin to the stranger and that he dropped her off. Tejas suggests calling Sachin to fabricate a story, but Sayali reminds him of their pact not to lie to Sachin. She then exits the scene.
Renu receives a call from a man in Dubai. With a smile, she asks if he is Roshni’s father and informs him that Roshni has been eagerly anticipating his call. The man, who introduces himself as Suraj, clarifies that he is actually her cousin. Renu responds with an “oh ok” and the man continues to explain that he is calling on behalf of Roshni’s father. He reassures her that there is nothing to worry about and asks her to inform Roshni about his call. Renu agrees and suggests that he can call back later before ending the call. Immediately after, she calls Roshni to ask about her whereabouts.
Roshni informs me that she is currently at the parlor. I inquire if she can come home as I have some exciting news to share. She asks for more information and I reveal that I spoke to her cousin, Suraj. Roshni is taken aback. I inform her that Suraj mentioned her father’s illness and desire to see her. She replies by requesting his contact number so she can reach out. However, I remind her that it was a private number and Suraj promised to give her a call.
Renu has suggested calling your father as a solution to the problems at hand. Upon Akash and Riya’s arrival at the hotel, she witnesses their romantic gestures with a smile. She notes how passionately in love they are. However, when Akash mentions it being his workplace, she clarifies that she is not going to kiss him there. The conversation then turns to live-in relationships. Renu shares her view that they are better than marriage because lovers tend to fight like animals after getting married. Akash asks if this means one should never get married, to which she responds by saying that couples often start viewing each other as possessions and lose their spark. He quickly assures her that he was just curious about her opinion on the subject.
As Renu opens the door, she notices two unfamiliar men standing there. She inquires about their identity and whether they have come to see Sachin. One of the men then asks who Renuka is, to which she replies that she is indeed Renuka. She goes on to ask them about Roshni’s father, wondering if they are Suraj. However, the men’s real intention is to collect a loan repayment from her. Confused, she questions them about this money and they remind her of the unpaid instalments. Annoyed, she tells them to leave and take water outside. The men become angry and scold her.
Paresh approaches Renu with a question about the men, causing her to grow anxious. To divert their attention, she falsely claims they are inquiring about water. Paresh agrees and Renu hands over the water. The men then remind her to be punctual, prompting Renu to again deceive Paresh. Meanwhile, Sayali turns to Sachin for confirmation on whether he gave money to the moneylender. He affirms this due to earning extra from long rides, but Sayali voices concern about his backache. Sachin acknowledges this but assures her that once his car is repaired, all will be well again.
She inquires if she should join them, drop her off at Aai’s house, and then purchase some items from the market. He agrees with a simple “okay, come”. Renu takes the money and leaves to meet Shakku. Sachin informs that he will be picking up a ride. Sayali mentions that she is going to visit her mother. Sachin wonders where Renu went. Paresh reassures him that she went to see Shakku and he doesn’t need to worry. Sayali promises to return soon. Spotting Renu, she suggests they give her a ride, but Sachin declines, fearing an argument. Instead, he suggests they listen to FM music during their commute.
Dilip voices his grievances to Chitti regarding Renu. Chitti reassures him, saying she will seek retribution and he will receive compensation. However, Dilip declines, stating he does not wish to participate in any schemes. Chitti clarifies that she simply wants him to remain seated while they wait for Renu’s arrival. She explains that the auto driver has singled out Renu, who had falsely accused Dilip of theft. After a few moments, Sachin and Sayali approach and Renu expresses her gratitude towards Chitti. In response, Chitti warmly remarks that her family is also hers now and smiles.
