The Episode begins with Monty’s departure. Sachin reveals that he did not speak to Monty. Sayali expresses her appreciation for the rose he gave her, emphasizing its significance. Juhi suggests praising Sachin for making a Gajra for Sayali. With a smile, Sayali agrees, and Sachin places the Gajra on her head. As “Ankhon se teri…” plays in the background, he compliments her. Finally, Sachin and Sayali depart together.
Shubha’s mood shifts to joy as he exclaims that he had forgotten about her birthday. He offers to take her on an outing and spend the entire day together to make up for it. As they are enjoying their time, Sakshi calls. Shubha clenches his fist, feeling the urge to break her phone, but manages to control himself since it’s her special day. The two continue to cherish each other’s company, with the romantic song “Dil Diyaan Gallan” playing in the background. Suddenly, Sayali receives a call, and Sachin becomes visibly angry. However, he soon calms down and forgives her, still remembering that it is her birthday.
She stays occupied with phone calls while they are at the beach. After apologizing to him, he embraces her. Sayali then asks if she should prioritize taking the calls. He reassures her that he understands the importance of work and has no issue with it, but he has set aside everything for her on this special day, and she seems to be still preoccupied with calls. She explained that she could not refuse work, even on her birthday. He expresses his frustration about Renu calling her a “problem” and wanting to make her birthday memorable. He left his work behind to be with her, and now it’s up to her to decide whether she wants to spend time with him or continue taking calls. She responds that she wants to be with him but wonders if he also wants to be with her. He assures her he has no other commitments and suggests they have tea before embarking on their planned Mumbai tour together. She agrees with a nod of the head.
She appreciates his thoughtfulness and expresses, “I feel exceptional on this birthday, thank you.” Sachin inquires about what there is to be thankful for. Curious, she asks how he celebrates his birthdays. He replies that Renu did not celebrate hers and that their father used to do something special. Bringing out a surprise, he hands her balloons. “Now, close your eyes and make a wish,” he instructs. She wishes for them always to stay together and for her to be a source of support for Sachin. “It’s settled then,” he confirms with a smile.
She nods as he leaves the balloons floating in the air. Curious, she asks why he did this. He answers with a familiar explanation his father once gave him – that the balloons carry our wishes to Bappa, who grants them. He then reveals his intention to fulfill another wish and takes her hand, promising to take her out for the day. Again, she nods in agreement as he suggests teaching her how to make sand castles before they proceed to do so together. Just then, she receives a call from Monty, and he gets visibly upset.
