Udne Ki Aasha 9th September 2024 Written Update begins with an emotional Sayali calling Sachin in tears. Concerned, he asks if Renu did something, but she reveals that the police have arrested Paresh. As she tries to explain further, the call disconnects due to poor network. Both Sayali and Sachin rush to the police station.
At the station, Tejas suggests giving a statement and going home, but the inspector scolds him. Roshni tries to intervene, and Renu pleads Paresh’s innocence. Joy firmly insists that Paresh shouldn’t be released. When Roshni questions the lack of evidence, Mamta lashes out, claiming their daughter Riya is missing just a week before her wedding—and Paresh is responsible for defaming them.
Paresh defends himself, stating he knows nothing and insists Akash is a good man. The inspector warns Paresh that it’s a criminal case and if Riya doesn’t return, jail time is likely. Despite the pressure, Paresh continues to deny involvement. Mamta suggests using force to extract a confession, but Renu begs them to stop, fearing for Paresh’s well-being.
Paresh proposes that Riya might have gone somewhere on her own, and pleads with them to search for her instead of blaming him and Akash. He assures them that Akash will return home. The inspector refuses to release Paresh and threatens further detention. When Tejas questions the treatment, the inspector tells him to leave.
As tension escalates, Paresh pleads to be allowed to leave and promises to bring Akash himself. The inspector silences him, revealing that the “inquiry” was just a trick to get him in custody. The constable forces Paresh to sit quietly. Renu, in tears, begs Tejas to help, but he’s helpless. She asks him to call Sachin.
Paresh continues to express his faith in Akash, stating he could never do such a thing. Renu wonders what she can do to help. Roshni promises to arrange a good lawyer to secure Paresh’s release. Renu laments Akash’s actions as Tejas tries to comfort her. Roshni makes some urgent calls for legal help.

Meanwhile, Tejas lies to Roshni about his boss. Just then, Juhi reaches the station, and Sayali confronts her. Juhi denies knowing Akash’s whereabouts. Sachin arrives at the police station, breathless. Sayali informs him about Paresh, and he rushes inside.
Sachin is stunned to see his father in tears inside the lock-up. He tries to intervene, demanding that the inspector release Paresh, defending his father’s integrity. The inspector asks who he is. Sachin reveals he’s not Akash, but his elder brother. The inspector explains the case details, and Sachin is left in disbelief.
As Joy and Mamta enter, Sachin furiously calls them frauds and threatens them. The constable reveals the shocking news—Akash and Riya got married that very day. Everyone is left in shock.
