At the beginning of the episode, Aaji returns home. Sayali is pleased to see her and welcomes her. Knowing how Renu behaved with you, Aaji says whatever you said to her disturbed me. I should train Renu to be a good Saas, so I came here. Aaji says you came here for me. Why did you go through that trouble? Paresh asked me to come before marriage, so I had to go in two days; Renu called you ill-fated. I’ll tell Renu what good has happened in the house since your arrival, and I’ll see her.

Sachin and Sayali’s marriage is three months old, and mangalsutra rasam is due. Sachin says I had tied mangalsutra in Sayali’s neck. Aaji says you have to turn it and make her wear it, and we’ll do these rasams this week. Renu asks if it is essential. Aaji asks why, don’t you know? Renu says yes, but Tejas’ wedding functions are also there. Paresh replies yes.
Sachin says kundali already ruined my life when she was going to marry Tejas, so we have to match Sachin and Sayali’s kundali now. While resting in her lap, Sayali cries and says she doesn’t find it suitable. Aaji says Sachin took the money I gave Renu. He didn’t do anything wrong; I got the money for the puja expenses. Aaji says he doesn’t need money; whatever he has is yours. Sachin will come and take him and buy a good saree for you. Sayali hugs her and smiles at her.
Aaji tells Sayali to stay happy with Sachin. Sachin eats the food and says it’s the best. He asks Sayali to give him the chutney. He says it’s different and very lovely. Tejas arrives. Sachin says your mother taught you how to cook. He sees Tejas. He talks aloud. He says Akash is a chef. I’ll take you to his hotel if he eats the food you’ve prepared. Sayali smiles.
He asks her to answer, and she responds that she will come as she wants to try the food cooked by Akash. He mentioned that Akash was working hard to open his hotel. She adds that he had called and inquired about their car and loan. He praises Akash for reaching out, mentioning that he missed his call. He then makes a snide remark about Tejas running away with the money, but Tejas ignores him. Sayali urges Sachin not to get angry and advises him to eat with a calm mind. Sachin agrees with her statement, acknowledging that she is right. Just then, Renu enters and reminds them of Sachin’s office appointment. Tejas points out his joblessness, causing Renu to warn him about damaging their family’s reputation if anyone were to find out. Expressing his hunger, Tejas eagerly accepts Renu’s invitation for food. She then turns her attention towards Sachin, scolding him for his behavior.
Sachin makes fun of Tejas. He doubts how Tejas did not lose his job. Tejas worries. If you think driving is easy, ask Tejas to drive the taxi. Renu asks Sayali to get him a plate. Sachin tells Sayali, “You don’t need to do anything for Tejas. I am starving. Go get Cheela for me.” Renu says he will get breakfast for Tejas. Sayali makes the Cheela for Sachin. Renu takes the plate, and Sayali says it’s for Sachin.
He has to go to the office, so Renu says Sachin has much to eat. Sachin takes the Cheela and says Sayali, it’s good, make more for me. Renu says she’ll do that for Tejas as well. Aaji calls out Paresh. Sachin invites her to eat with him. She says she’s not hungry. She talks to Paresh about the rasams. Paresh asks Sachin to listen to Aaji. Sachin says I’m fine.
Renu says it isn’t essential. Paresh says don’t refuse to Aai. Renu says Tejas’ marriage is happening. Sachin says to cancel the marriage. Tejas thinks once Roshni comes home, I’ll shut Sachin’s mouth. Paresh says Sachin and Sayali’s lives will be happy. In Renu’s words, we have a lot of expenses, so how will we handle them? Aaji says I will hold them. She thinks I would like Tejas to give me the first grandchild, while Aaji wants Sachin and Sayali to provide me with a child.
In Renu’s opinion, we should do Sachin’s marriage rasams and then prepare for Suhaagraat. Sachin says he wants to say… Paresh says not to say anything; everything should be done right away.
