Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 10th September 2024 Written Episode Update begins with Sanjay telling Dadi that Armaan may call himself Abhira’s family, but the Maayka side must perform the rasam. Dadi adds that while Abhira managed to arrange money for the function, she cannot arrange a family. Armaan asks Abhira about her family, and she says she tried asking her mother many times but never got an answer. Armaan offers to find them, but Abhira refuses, saying her mother never wanted that and she cannot go against her wishes.
Dadi coldly remarks that Abhira’s pride will soon break, as money cannot bring back her Maayka. She says family is Abhira’s weakness, and they will use it against her. Armaan tells Abhira that she deserves her family’s love, but she replies that her mother also deserved it, yet no one ever came looking for them. She resolves to handle the rasam herself. Dadi smirks and says Abhira will lose tomorrow, but Abhira confidently replies that she won’t.
Later, Ruhi grows upset that Manish is not answering calls. Abhira says not to disturb him, he might be resting. When Abhira tries to talk about the function, Ruhi tells her to stop giving advice. Armaan intervenes, saying Abhira is not wrong. Ruhi then angrily asks why Abhira invited Manish to the rasam, recalling how Armaan left her at the mandap. Abhira replies that she will not invite him again, but Ruhi can. Ruhi storms off in anger.
The next morning, everyone gathers for the gift rasam. Abhira prepares envelopes, but Dadi taunts her for not receiving gifts from her Maayka. Sanjay and Vidya say she should have refused beforehand. Dadi declares the rasam will not happen. Just then, men arrive with gifts. Everyone wonders who sent them. Abhira turns and sees Manish with Suwarna and Surekha. Overwhelmed, she cries out “Parnanu” and hugs him.
Manish announces that Abhira’s Maayka has arrived and the rasam will take place. Sanjay taunts her again, accusing her of cunningly trapping Ruhi’s family to gain support. Manish shouts at him to stop and declares that Abhira is Akshara’s daughter, his granddaughter. Everyone is left stunned.
Abhira breaks down in tears while Ruhi recalls her mother Akshu. In anger, Ruhi slaps Abhira. She accuses her of being the daughter of the woman who caused her parents’ death, the reason they left Udaipur. She blames Abhira’s mother for snatching away her parents, her happiness, and even Armaan. Ruhi says she hates her. Manish tries to calm her, telling them they are sisters.
Abhira, devastated, says she now understands why her mother kept her away from the family. She admits the truth has brought only pain and drama. Although Manish reassures her, Ruhi demands answers about her mother. Abhira, shattered, removes her engagement ring and says she cannot face Ruhi. She gives the ring to her and decides to leave. Ruhi faints, and Suwarna calls for Manish, who looks on in worry.
