Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 12th September 2024 Written Episode Update begins with Ruhi accusing Abhira of stealing Manish from her. She cries, saying she feels like an orphan now. Manish tries to calm her, explaining that he loves both Ruhi and Abhira as his daughters. Ruhi insists he chose Abhira over her and storms off in her car. Abhira feels guilty, but Manish assures her that their bond is destiny and she deserves family happiness. Even so, Abhira says she wants Ruhi to be happy and leaves.
At home, Suwarna angrily breaks Ruhi and Manish’s photo. She blames him for Ruhi’s pain and says he abandoned her. Despite Manish’s attempt to explain, she refuses to live in the same room with him. Left in tears, Manish vows to protect both Abhira and Ruhi’s rights, no matter what.
Elsewhere, Abhira’s dupatta flies to Armaan. He covers her with it, apologises, and cheers her up. She worries their marriage is creating problems for everyone, including Dadi. Determined, she promises to make Dadi dance at their sangeet. Dadi overhears and resolves to test her.
On the way to the venue, heavy rain stops their cars. Madhav suggests leaving one car behind, but Manish warns that the lake has overflowed and reaching the venue is impossible. Dadi declares the sangeet cancelled, leaving everyone disappointed.
Precap: During the sangeet, Abhira faints while dancing. The doctor shocks everyone by revealing that Abhira can never become a mother. Dadi and Vidya pressure Armaan not to marry her, leaving Abhira shattered.
