The episode starts with Abhira asking Ruhi not to tell the name; it’s okay. She gives Ruhi the phone because she thinks she won’t get a better chance to say the truth. She says, “Abhira, thanks.” Abhira says everyone wants you to be happy. Suwarna asks Manish what happened. She tells him Ruhi must return home since she cannot stay there.
Ruhi should be happy, Abhira says. She says Armaan has messed up the room, I can handle his things, I hope she gets it back. She folds the clothes. She receives the divorce papers. Armaan comes and takes them. She says I was cleaning. He says I want to… She forgets to turn off the gas. She runs. He keeps the papers in his bag.
She says, “Don’t do anything to my children.” The man says, “I have sent the money. Check it again.” He threatens her. Armaan asks Abhira if she saw Ruhi. Abhira says no. He gets a call. He leaves. Abhira says Armaan left without saying anything; maybe Ruhi went to her friend’s place. She sees someone and asks if you came to book a room. He carries a gun and leaves.
She mentions that contacting Armaan is not advisable as he could be driving. While catching her reflection, she comments on her unattractive appearance and feels compelled to put in some effort. After bathing and drying her hair, she smiles, with the romantic track “Yeh ishq hai” playing in the background. She adorns herself in a bright red saree before gleefully dancing around. Upon stumbling upon some documents in Armaan’s bag, she expresses her concerns to him. In response, Armaan notices Ruhi and questions why she lied about getting hurt since he had planned to come clean with Abhira. To which Ruhi explains that she didn’t want their relationship to commence on a negative note, citing the strength of the couple who inscribes “Shiv Shakti” (symbol of divine energy) elsewhere as an example. They proceed to have a heated disagreement on the matter.
She cries and tells him, “Come to me; I’m tired of waiting.” He wipes her tears. He holds her hand and says, “Please come; we’ll write Shiv Shakti’s name on the wall.” As they write the name, a lady passes by. Ruhi collides with a woman, and the alta bowl falls. Armaan watches and wonders if the alta falling is a sign of fate. Abhira stumbles and is held in his arms.
She shows the divorce papers to him and says you want to give me a divorce. He says this is nothing like that, listen to me. She says don’t touch me. They step on the alta and leave. He goes after her. Ruhi calls out Armaan. He says two footprints. Dadi gets tense. She takes medicine. She receives the commissioner’s call. When she answers, she says she needs your help, but not to tell Madhav about it. Otherwise, the family will hear about it, leading to a disaster.
Armaan pulls Abhira out and says what are you doing? Listen to me, I didn’t make the divorce papers. Abhira scolds him and cries. They argue. Ruhi says I will not lose my love this time. Abhira says she will sign the papers. She looks for the pen in his coat. Armaan stops her and holds her. She cries. He says, please listen to me. He says let me go, or else I’ll shout. He says fine, shout, I’ll not leave you behind. She says I’ll leave you alone.
As Ruhi looks around, a woman stumbles and requests water. She apologizes and offers to help. The woman then calls out for someone. Two women reprimand a man, telling him to relinquish her hand. The man warns him to release her, or they will involve the police. He claims that the girl is his wife. One of the ladies asks if he is her husband, to which Abhira denies any relation. She leaves while the man chases after her. Abhira hitches a ride and departs while Armaan receives a call. Ruhi pleads for his help, claiming that they have kidnaped her. He notices Abhira escaping in a vehicle.
