Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 19th December 2025 Written Update begins with Abhira and Kiara exchanging rings during the engagement ceremony. In the middle of the ritual, Abhira suddenly realises that the ring is not the original heirloom but a fake one. Shocked and unsettled, she immediately questions Madhav and Vidya about the ring. Armaan overhears their conversation and grows concerned.
Vidya finally reveals the truth. She says Krish stole the engagement ring. She explains that when she visited the jewellery shop earlier, she noticed a car parked outside that looked exactly like Krish’s. She suspected that Krish had sold the ring, but she chose not to confront him at that time as she was worried about Kaveri’s health.
After the guests leave, Abhira asks Kiara to rest. Soon after, Kaveri notices the ring on Kiara’s finger and demands to know where the real ring is. Everyone is left stunned. Kaveri reveals that she had already realised during the engagement that the ring was fake but decided to stay quiet to avoid creating a scene in front of the guests.
Kaveri questions Armaan since the responsibility of the ring was given to him. Before Armaan can respond, Abhira steps in and claims that the ring was with her and she lost it. She promises to bring the original ring back soon. Armaan immediately contradicts her and says that Abhira is lying because he himself lost the ring. Both Abhira and Armaan start blaming themselves to protect each other, leaving the family shocked.
Vidya then firmly declares that neither Armaan nor Abhira is responsible, as Krish is the one who stole and sold the ring. Krish is stunned by the accusation. Kajal questions him, but Krish angrily denies everything and calls Vidya a liar. Vidya insists she clearly saw his car at the jewellery store and believes he sold the ring.
Krish argues that Vidya has no proof and accuses her of lying to save Armaan and Abhira. He even suggests that Armaan and Abhira may have planned this themselves to frame him. Armaan warns Krish to watch his words. Sanjay and Kajal defend Krish, stating that he would never stoop so low as to steal jewellery from his own house.
Armaan reminds everyone that Krish is already under pressure as he is selling his share of the property. This revelation shocks Kaveri. Krish snaps back, saying whatever he does with his property is his personal matter. Armaan then points out that the ring was Kaveri’s precious family heirloom and questions what circumstances forced Krish to sell it, if he truly did.
The heated arguments deeply affect Kaveri. She suddenly collapses on the floor. Everyone panics and rushes to her side. A doctor examines Kaveri and informs the family that she has suffered a minor heart attack. He explains that her heart has weakened significantly and that stress could trigger a more severe attack. He advises immediate hospitalisation for observation. Armaan agrees while Abhira breaks down emotionally.
Abhira lashes out at the family, saying that while everyone claims to love Kaveri, they are the real cause of her suffering. She reminds them how the family once stood united to blame Kiara during her drug truth but now remains blinded by ego and greed. She states that heart attacks have many causes, but in Kaveri’s case, her family is the biggest reason.
Meanwhile, Madhav receives a call and asks Krish to come with him. Armaan and Krish continue arguing over the ring. Madhav then brings in a man whom Krish had earlier hired to sell the ring using a fake identity. This shocks Krish. Madhav begins questioning the man, but Kajal panics and says this is not the right time since Kaveri is unconscious.
The police arrive and interrogate the man. He lies and claims he never received money from Krish and only spoke to him over the phone. He even says the number is saved in his phone. Madhav calls the number, but it is switched off. Krish shows his phone is active. When questioned about the car, the man says it looked similar but he cannot confirm if it belonged to Krish.
Krish silently feels relieved, thinking he was smart enough to use a spare car and discard the SIM card. The police conclude that it may be a misunderstanding and say Krish probably did not steal the ring. Armaan hugs Krish, apologises, and expresses relief that it was all a misunderstanding.
Madhav insists that the ring must be recovered at any cost. The police say the jeweller will not return the ring unless the real culprit is caught, and without solid proof, they cannot force him. The police leave.
Kiara suggests postponing the wedding until Kaveri recovers. Abhir agrees, saying he cannot celebrate while Kaveri is hospitalised. An ambulance arrives, but Kaveri regains consciousness and refuses to go to the hospital. Abhira worries, but Kaveri calmly says nothing will happen to her.
Kaveri insists on returning home and emotionally declares that she wants Kiara’s wedding to happen happily inside the house. She warns everyone that if anyone tries to stop the wedding, she will never forgive them.
On the way back, Vidya tells Madhav that she is still certain Krish stole the ring and that she clearly saw his car with the same number outside the jewellery shop. Madhav questions why she could not recognise the man if she is so sure and asks her to stop making accusations, especially given Kaveri’s fragile condition.
Back at the Poddar house, Kaveri sarcastically says everyone has gathered thinking she might die soon so that property division becomes easier. Armaan denies this and asks her to rest. Kaveri insists on speaking and emotionally says destiny is unpredictable. She wants to see Kiara as a bride before anything worse happens. She says the wedding is the only thing holding the family together and asks Abhira to promise that she will ensure the entire family attends the wedding happily.
Later, Armaan tells Abhira that he is confused. The ring dealer denied recognising Krish, but Vidya also seems truthful. Abhira says he is stuck between proof and emotions and suggests letting the matter rest for now. Armaan is shocked that Abhira wants to step back after trying so hard. Abhira explains that Kaveri’s wishes matter more than anything at the moment. She urges Armaan to focus on getting the ring back and respecting Kaveri’s priorities.
To lighten the mood, Armaan dances with Abhira and tries to make her smile. Abhira asks him to bring the ring back and says she is going to Miara before leaving.
