Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 1st December 2025 Written Update begins with Abhira waiting for Armaan’s call as their anniversary approaches its end. Kaveri encourages Abhira to meet Armaan and sort out their misunderstanding. Anand agrees and says Abhira should be with her family. Abhira counters by saying this rule applies to Kaveri as well, and she should resolve her issues with Vidya. Kaveri insists she can clear misunderstandings, but cannot forget the wound Vidya gave her. Her self-respect stops her from returning to the Poddar house.
Abhira becomes happy hearing this, and Kaveri asks why she is smiling. Abhira explains that people only disagree with those they love, which means there is still hope. She challenges Kaveri to give her a difficult task. If she completes it, Kaveri must return to the Poddar house with her.
Meanwhile, Vidya and Kaveri secretly plan to bring Armaan and Abhira together on their anniversary. Vidya scolds a deliveryman for bringing ice cream to the wrong house. Armaan overhears the conversation and says he will bring ice cream for Vidya.
A discussion begins in the living room when Kiara brings sweets and announces that her friend is expecting a baby. The family congratulates her, but becomes shocked when they learn the friend is unmarried. Kajal and Vidya call this unacceptable. Tanya and Kiara argue that times have changed, and having a child before marriage is no longer a sin. Madhav disagrees and reminds them that society still holds strong opinions. Sanjay advises Kiara to avoid such friends. Tanya becomes upset by the family’s reaction.
Later, Armaan and Abhira bump into each other and discover a beautifully arranged anniversary setup. Both deny planning it. Soon, Madhav and Abhir reveal that they arranged the surprise for their anniversary. Abhira hugs Armaan, and both apologise to each other. Armaan admits he should have spoken more gently, while Abhira says she should not have fought with him. Abhira asks about Vidya’s health. Armaan tries to avoid the topic but she insists that trust is important and ignoring issues is not a solution.
Armaan receives a message from Madhav telling him not to bring ice cream and to enjoy his anniversary. Abhira explains that Kaveri wanted ice cream as well. They realise Vidya and Kaveri put aside their differences to bring them together.
At the temple, Kaveri struggles to keep the diya burning during the maha aarti. Vidya steps in to help. The priest reminds them that the flame should not go out. Vidya tells Kaveri that Abhira and Armaan are apart because of them, and they must unite the couple. Madhav also supports the idea. Kaveri agrees to help.
Armaan and Abhira feel relieved that Vidya and Kaveri are softening toward each other. Armaan tells Abhira he has a plan to reconcile the two elders. He suggests they pretend to fight so Vidya and Kaveri will come together to mend the situation. Abhira agrees.
Elsewhere, Kiara confesses to Tanya that she chose to have a baby through a procedure. Tanya proposes a shocking idea. She asks Kiara to give the baby to her, promising to raise it with love. Kiara is stunned and refuses.
Armaan surprises Abhira with a romantic moment, and they celebrate their anniversary.
At the Goenka house, Abhir prepares to leave for Japan. Kiara asks him if he is serious. He says he has no reason to stay. After he leaves, Kiara becomes emotional and decides not to tell him about her pregnancy. She feels faint and collapses. Abhir returns, panics, and immediately calls a doctor.
The doctor checks Kiara and reassures her that dizziness is normal. Kiara stops the doctor from revealing her pregnancy to Abhir. Abhir helps her and says she should not drive. Kiara ignores him and leaves.
Meanwhile, Vidya is shocked to find Kajal making a partition in the kitchen. Kajal says one side belongs to the Poddars and the other side to the Bansals. She warns Vidya not to underestimate her.
The episode ends with a sweet moment between Abhira and Armaan as they celebrate their togetherness.
