Abhira and Armaan argue at the beginning of the episode. This happens in a joint family, he says. She asks if you will suffocate Charu’s dreams. She wants to work. He says you don’t know my family and won’t support her career. She says they must understand that it’s time, and elders also adjust according to children. Charu claims his life will be ruined and no longer have a name and career. Once she calms down, Armaan will convince Dadi.
Abhira arrives, prompting Ruhi to inform her that Charu is upset and suggests she speak with her. Abhira expresses her desire to talk to Charu, but Ruhi reminds her that Charu may not share the same priorities as her. Abhira reassures Ruhi that she has no intention of trying to replicate herself in Charu. However, Ruhi points out that Abhira caused a scene and may not fully comprehend the challenges Charu is facing. Despite this, Abhira insists she understands Charu well due to their shared work environment and feels the need to communicate with her. Charlie bluntly rejects Abhira’s attempts at communication, accusing her of constantly meddling in others’ lives out of jealousy.
Armaan and the rest of the group arrive, with Armaan calling out for Charu. She scolds him, to which Ruhi responds, “Enough, Charu.” Charu clarifies that he is her brother but not her own. This causes Armaan’s hands to shake as he cries. Charu then adds that he didn’t help her despite Abhira’s reminder that he always took her side. However, Charu points out that Armaan only supports Ruhi, and she should remember this when applying for an internship as it shows that family is more important to him. Madhav and Vidya are visibly upset, and Abhira comforts Armaan while Ruhi remembers his words. Sadly, he leaves the scene while Madhav instructs Ruhi to take Charu inside, and Vidya asks her to do the same.
As Madhav holds Abhira, he says, “Go to Armaan. He needs you.” As Armaan enters his room, he covers himself in a blanket and weeps. He recalls Charu and Dadi’s words. Dur chal kahin…plays… He says no, I should not be hurt by Charu’s words. She is upset, but this family accepts me, and they love me. When he sees the family photo, he cleans the frame and says he won’t let any stain ruin it.
Ruhi checks if Abhira has seen Manish and reminds us that our words can impact others. Unfortunately, his heart was broken. But Abhira assures to mend it. She brings kachoris for everyone in the morning, glancing at the upstairs. Dadi orders her to serve food. Ruhi wonders if Manish was the one to send the kachoris, but Abhira clarifies that she made them using her mother’s recipe. Armaan enters and greets Dadi, to which Abhira asks him to sit down and try her kachoris. He declines and requests her to save some for him instead, while Ruhi offers a peanut butter sandwich, which he declines as he plans on having it in the office instead. As he leaves, Abhira calls out after him.
I will talk to Armaan face-to-face. Dadi says don’t call from behind. Abhira says sorry, I’ll stop Armaan’s car. Armaan asks what are you doing. She says I’m trying to talk to rude Armaan. Ruhi comes to Charu and asks her to speak to Armaan. Charu turns up the TV volume. Ruhi turns it off. Abhira asks how much pain will you die in? Tell me about Charu. Charu cries and says no one has sympathy for me.
Armaan says she said that in anger. She taunted you. She says you should have told her you are essential to this family. She takes his glasses and asks why your eyes are swollen. Talk to me. He says I am getting late. She says you have no meeting today. Talk to Charu. Ruhi says he loves you, so he didn’t fight you. Charu argues. She says sorry, I won’t apologize to him. Suwarna calls Ruhi. Ruhi leaves. Ruhi leaves.
