Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 24th August 2024 episode begins with Ruhi wondering where Armaan has gone. Krish informs that Abhira is not in the outhouse. Kiara adds that they had prepared a special dance for the couple’s grand entry. Dadi asks everyone to find Abhira. Just then, Ruhi attempts to speak but Armaan arrives. Dadi questions him about Abhira’s whereabouts, jokingly guessing she might have gone to court to help someone in need. Armaan reassures her that Abhira is on her way.
Dadi lovingly pulls Armaan’s ear and scolds him playfully, bringing smiles to everyone’s faces. Ruhi, clearly annoyed, says the fun is enough. Armaan gives the ring to Vidya, who, along with Dadi, finds it beautiful. However, Armaan hides the truth that the ring is fake to protect Abhira and preserve everyone’s happiness.
Ruhi is confused about how another ring appeared when she still has the real one. Vidya instructs Charu to keep the ring safe. Meanwhile, Madhav asks for Abhira’s entry to begin. Ruhi quickly checks the ring she had hidden and confirms that it is indeed the real one.
Abhira arrives, and everyone is delighted to see her. Armaan clutches his heart lovingly as he watches her. Sanjay jokes about the engagement happening in a lawyer’s household. Though Abhira looks sad, Armaan gestures her to smile. Ruhi, silently determined, vows to expose Abhira.
Armaan and Abhira dance together, surrounded by happy family members. Abhira quietly questions why they are lying. Armaan responds that it is best to let everyone enjoy this moment. Even Dadi, though reluctant, is asked to dance, but she refuses due to her disapproval of Abhira. Ruhi, waiting for her moment, thinks she will reveal the truth in just two minutes. Abhira, worried, silently prays for a miracle.
She accidentally bumps into Ruhi, who then frantically looks for the ring. Dadi calls everyone to gather for the engagement. Abhira notices the ring nearby. Dadi introduces Abhira to the guests, saying she is different, truthful, and responsible, even though she gives her a tough time.
Dadi tells Armaan and Abhira to exchange rings. Armaan and Abhira share a silent emotional connection. Vidya prompts Armaan to begin, and he places the ring on Abhira’s finger. Everyone claps. Ruhi becomes desperate and searches for the original ring. Vidya then asks Abhira to place the ring on Armaan’s finger.
Dadi, noticing Abhira’s hesitation, suspects something is wrong. Armaan signals Abhira with encouragement. Ruhi finds the real ring and rushes to the venue. Abhira, overwhelmed, stops and apologizes. Dadi gets angry, but Armaan says she is just emotional about missing her mother. Abhira denies it and reveals that she has made a big mistake.
With tears in her eyes, she confesses that she lost the real ring Dadi had given and that the one used in the ceremony is fake. Everyone stands shocked as Abhira cries.
