Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 24th October 2024 Written Episode Update begins with Abhira begging Armaan to listen to her. She says she had planned everything and wanted to tell him properly. Without saying a word, Armaan holds her hand and takes her to the car. He recalls her past words and walks away, standing in the pouring rain. Abhira shouts at him, asking what he is doing. Armaan locks her inside the car. She pleads with him to stop or he will fall sick.
He calls her on the phone and asks why she hid her pregnancy from him. She requests him to sit in the car so they can talk calmly. Armaan angrily asks if he did not have the right to know. He scolds her for hiding it. Abhira says she found out on the day of the Garba event, the day Dadi was attacked. Armaan is shocked that she hid something so big for so long. She apologises repeatedly and explains that she had planned a surprise to tell him, but she fainted before she could speak. Armaan says everyone knew except him and asks if she ever considered how he felt.
Abhira says they should go home and let Dadi explain everything. Armaan stops her, shocked that even Dadi knows about the pregnancy. She cries and says he should come inside before he gets sick. He thinks about their moments together.
Armaan finally returns to the car and opens the door. He asks if the pregnancy has complications. She avoids answering and tells him to go home. Armaan checks her reports and breaks down in tears. He says her life is at risk. Abhira hugs him and says he is her life. She insists that doctors exaggerate things and that she will not leave him or their baby. She says they will welcome the baby together and shower the child with love. She explains she wanted to share the news with him first but could not, so she went to Dadi for guidance. She says she has Dadi’s blessings and his love, and nothing will happen to her. She hugs him tightly as he cries.
Meanwhile, Charu and Neeraj return home. Mala and Sanjay greet them. Sanjay says Charu and he both like Neeraj. Charu happily accepts a bracelet from him. Krish helps Sanjay with hugging etiquettes. Sanjay expresses hope that Neeraj will support Charu’s career. They all share a warm family moment.
Back with Armaan and Abhira, he sees her phone again as people around judge him. The doctor asks why he did not know she was pregnant. Armaan says she never told him.
At home, Ruhi and Dadi play chess. Ruhi casually asks about Abhira. Dadi wonders why she is asking. The doctor at the restaurant tells Armaan he should have understood the situation himself and scolds him for being irresponsible during the first trimester.
Abhira wakes up. The doctor tells her to eat something. Abhira requests privacy and plays a voice message once the doctor leaves. Armaan walks away silently.
Armaan and Abhira later go home. Abhira brings Armaan to Dadi and asks her to tell him that everything will be fine. Dadi says she does not remember what Abhira told her the previous night because she had not taken her medicine yet. Armaan says they will manage their matter on their own, but Abhira insists on telling Dadi the truth. Armaan takes her away and says their dream will never come true.
Abhira shows him the sonography report and says this is their baby. Armaan cries and says yes, it is their baby. She says the family will accept them once the baby is born and that a miracle has happened in their lives. Armaan hugs her and apologises but says they must terminate the pregnancy because he cannot risk her life. Abhira refuses and says it is her baby too. Armaan says he cannot lose her at any cost. He says dreams cannot replace reality and that she is the most important person in his life.
She asks if she is more important than their baby. He says yes. He firmly declares she will not deliver this baby. She cries and says he is speaking out of anger and they can talk later.
Armaan calls the doctor and asks about the procedure for terminating the pregnancy. Abhira panics. Armaan says this decision will be his. She defiantly says then she will end her life. He stops her and says she expects him to risk her life but does not think about his feelings. He says if she dies, he cannot live, so she should let him die too. She shouts at him to stop. He says she is his life, and she has dared to risk it.
Abhira says their baby is also his life and their family. Armaan recalls his trauma about losing his mother. He says he was devastated when his real mother died, and he does not want to put any child through the same pain. He says there is no need to tell the family. They have more than twenty four hours, and she must prepare herself. He says they are going for her procedure the next day. He walks away as she cries.
Armaan goes to a cliff and breaks down while talking to the baby’s picture. He apologises and slips, but Manish catches him. Armaan tries to hide the truth. Manish comforts him and says sometimes tears speak better than words. He says he knows Armaan and Abhira are strong and must face pain together. Armaan slowly starts to calm down.
