Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 28th August 2024 Written Episode begins with Abhira feeling excited to organise the wedding function. Vidya questions Kaveri about giving Abhira permission to handle the arrangements. Kaveri decides to test Abhira’s abilities and explains to Vidya that she wants Abhira to be responsible. She adds that after marriage, she will give Abhira more duties and this is the perfect opportunity to see her take charge.
Abhira visits the bank to fill out the loan form. The manager asks her to provide a guarantor. Kaveri agrees to stand as her guarantor, which makes Abhira happy. However, Kaveri’s true intention is to test her. Ruhi comments that Abhira will not easily pass Kaveri’s test. Kaveri then asks Arman how he manages Abhira. Arman replies that Abhira is the best.
Ruhi notices that Abhira’s parents’ names are missing from the wedding card and thinks about using her time to plot against Arman and Abhira. Arman bumps into Ruhi, and she asks if he considers her irresponsible. She suddenly feels unwell. Abhira arrives and is surprised to see Arman with Ruhi. Arman clarifies that they accidentally bumped into each other. Abhira admits she doubted him for a moment.
Abhira and Arman take Ruhi home. Rohit becomes worried seeing Ruhi unwell. Ruhi is shocked to learn that Arman and Abhira were the ones who brought her back. Meanwhile, Kaveri prepares for Janmashtami and asks if someone will sing. Arman suggests Abhira should sing. When no one volunteers, Kaveri says they can play a song on mobile instead.
Abhira surprises everyone with her beautiful singing. Ruhi recalls Akshara, while Manish, Swarna, and Surekha are stunned by the performance. Manish questions Abhira about where she heard the song. Abhira replies that she heard it at the temple. Manish asks if she is certain, but Swarna interrupts the conversation. Ruhi assumes Manish helped Abhira learn the song.
Abhira requests Kaveri to let her handle the Janmashtami preparations to prove her capability. Kaveri agrees, and Abhira becomes enthusiastic about the task. Ruhi feels that Abhira is making her remember Akshara and decides to confront her.
Kaveri praises Swarna and Manish for joining the Janmashtami celebrations, and Manish reveals that Abhira invited them. Kajal asks Kaveri who will make the rangoli, and Kaveri says she will announce it soon. Arman asks Abhira to meet him privately, but Abhira chooses to focus on the preparations. Manish advises Arman to let Abhira finish the decoration work.
